Half a century after they simmered with youthful sexuality in "Barefoot in the Park", screen legends Jane Fonda and Robert Redford have teamed up again in a tale of love and sex in later life.
"He's a great kisser so it was fun to kiss him in my 20s and it was fun to kiss him against at almost 80," Fonda said Friday of her famously handsome co-star in "Our Souls at Night."
The Netflix production had its premiere Friday at the Venice film festival, where the veteran stars were to be presented later with Golden Lions in recognition of two of the longest and most successful careers in US cinema.

I read a story on the making of “The Sting” with Redford, Paul Newman, and Robert Shaw.
Shaw before filming had started twisted his knee, so they wrote the Limp he had into the script. Shaw said later that working with Newman was a delight, every day he said Paul would inquire about his knee and ask if he needed anything.
Shaw said the whole time on the film, Redford was a total ASS and never once asked him about his knee or anything else. Shaw said he was without a doubt the worst Jackass he ever worked with and would never do so again.
I always like Robert Shaw, he was a fine actor and I’ll bet someone you would have liked to have a drink with.

I watched a 2017 Hallmark movie the other day with the Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner — falling in love, of course. It was kind of cute.
