Ruh Roh Mason you in trouble now. And, despite your creds, you gotta know you're kickin' the latest sacred cow of the blm crowd and their ilk. But, you are correct. There are plenty of examples out there where individuals(black and white) have managed to overcome their "circumstance" and become contributing members of society. Thanks for the input.

“If you believe in “white privilege,” then you are weak and non-competitive. I have never met a white person who was superior to me. I have met some more experienced, successful or more talented, but never met a superior white person in my life. Black Lies Matter should compete in the American Dream. You will lose some and win some, but you will be in charge. “

My experience in life as well. You will meet people with more experience than you. More education and knowledge in a certain field. Richer. But that’s not superior. That’s not a privilege. It was hard earned.

I wish I were as privileged as they say I am as a white guy.

I came from a lower middle class working family. I worked hard and made something of myself honestly.

Mr. Weaver is a wise man ... seems like a disciple of Booker T Washington.

Let’s make an agreement. I will judge people of all races by the people I see, meet and talk to every day – if you will do the same.

Brother, you've had that agreement with me for half a century.

My white privilege got me in the Army in 1971, and because of that privilege they paid me $134 a month and only had to work 60-70 hours a week. I learned to clean toilets, mop floors, pick up cigarette butts and other assorted details. Without my white privilege , I would have never been able to get into the Army. White privilege has been very very good to me!

All “white privilege” is is just plain old ordinary “American privilege”.

And that privilege is open and freely available to all.

1. Get an education. High school is enough.
2. Get Married. Stay married. Have kids
3. Get a job.

That’s it. You do that, and you will achieve the American Dream. Regardless of race, sex, creed, etc.

The left talks about white privilege because the left has given up on addressing black (and now Hispanic) academic underachievement, as well as other correlates of underclass culture. If one is unwilling to address the real issues, it becomes necessary to invent a scapegoat.

Hillry Clinton is the personification of ‘white privilege’. Remember how she and her hubby treated poor suffering Haitians.

Believing in “white privilege” means believing white people are superior and need to take better care of their slaves.

This should be emblazoned everywhere.

It's sad and disturbing that such a reasoned analysis of our shared reality is so rarely heard from black voices in America today.

But then again, how many of us, black or white, are truly free in our thinking?

Only the blatant physical form of human slavery was abolished here, but it was replaced by more devious and subtle mental/emotional form of slavery in wide use today.

And, just as before, blacks, women and children are hardest hit.

I support the rich, successful and or skilled people.
Black..white ..or otherwise.
The opposite side of the spectrum are a never ending drain on the kind, body and soul.
Sure help your neighbor..help a stranger..but don’t expect anything good from someone who refuses to help themselves.
The most mind boggling part is it only takes half an effort not to be a drain on everyone else.

It’s funny that my “white privilege” has me paying $100,000 for a state university education for my white daughter who has a 4.6 out of 4.0 GPA. She has black friends with much lower GPA’s who are getting a free ride.

I’m just thankful that my “white privilege” enables me to not only pay for my own kid’s education but also the educations of complete strangers with lower GPA’s....

Yes. When I retired from a major U.S. corporation, I knew a man with black skin who overcame extreme circumstances.

He was raised by a single mother and ran with a questionable crowd as a teen. When he was 18 he had a brush with the law, and the judge gave him the choice of the army or jail. He wisely chose the army.

He held a TS security clearance in the army, and used that to get a job in security in corporate America upon his discharge. He worked his way into a computer security management job. When I retired from the company five years ago, he was the computer security eastern region manager for that corporation.

Quite an achievement for a black kid raised on the fringe of the Baltimore hood. He essentially taught himself modern computer security.

Blacks: Stop believing 'white privilege' is real

Of course it'a real; and unfixable.
That's why it drives the Alt-Left nuts.

Its main beneficial characteristic is a functioning brain...

“I will judge people of all races by the people I see, meet and talk to every day – if you will do the same.”

Not the most eloquent way of saying it. I would have said I will judge a person by my personal interactions with him or her.

White Privilege, Critical Race Studies, these have achieved industrial status in academia and a whole lot of people now get paid for spewing their siren call. This bunch isn’t going to go quietly and there isn’t much else they’re intellectually suited for.
