Their faces hidden behind black bandannas and hoodies, about a 100 anarchists and antifa — “anti-fascist” — barreled into a protest Sunday afternoon in Berkeley’s Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park.
Jumping over plastic and concrete barriers, the group melted into a larger crowd of around 2,000 that had marched peacefully throughout the sunny afternoon for a “Rally Against Hate” gathering.
Shortly after, violence began to flare. A pepper-spray wielding Trump supporter was smacked to the ground with homemade shields. Another was attacked by five black-clad antifas, each windmilling kicks and punches into a man desperately trying to protect himself. A conservative group leader retreated for safety behind a line of riot police as marchers chucked water bottles, shot off pepper spray, and screamed “fascist go home!”
All told, the Associated Press reported at least five individuals were attacked. An AP reporter witnessed the assaults. Berkeley Police’s Lt. Joe Okies told The Washington Post the rally resulted in “13 arrests on a range of charges including assault with a deadly weapon, obstructing a police officer, and various Berkeley municipal code violations.”

I’ve got a theory why they published this in the WoPo. They’re trying to attract the losers, the thugs, and the criminal scum to Antifa. What we saw in Berkley was pure power. They could hurt whoever they wanted, they could do what they wanted, and the cops allowed them to do so. Every criminal loser in America is going to come running. Their ranks will swell.
These “Antifa” scumbags are violent depraved sociopaths. They need to be crushed. Utilize RICO prosecutions and every tool law enforcement has to take down such a violent conspiracy against the safety of the public.
The antifa rioting happens most in states without good 2nd Amendment provisions. There is probably a reason for that.

There was a man in the Cvile rally who stopped an Antifa using a flame thrower on people by firing a warning shot next to him. He’s currently sitting in jail charged with attempted murder while the guy with the flamer thrower is doing interviews in Roots and walking around free.
You can’t use your fire arms if you’ll end up in jail for it.

I sent a message to Antifa thanking them for all they have done to absolutely ensure Donald Trumps reelection.
Every time these masked thugs show up in the street.
Police should immediate arrest them, and charge them with rioting. More importantly it’s to create a criminal database of these thugs and arrest anyone of them that have warrants, on probation or parole. If they have none, then create a database of the ANTIFA thugs.
Let them know too the police now have their file on record. If they are ever arrested again, then they will be charged for terrorism and most likely spend the rest of their life in prison.
The problem was the “warning” shot. It should have been to the head. Then he would have been defending himself against an attempt to burn him to death with a flamethrower.
Where does it say he was charged with attempted murder? All I've seen is he was charges with firing a gun within 1000 feet of a school. To get a conviction in attempted murder you must prove intent, which will probably be impossible considering he never hit the guy and walked away without firing another shot.
