Well this gave me a new look at and respect for ol’ Charlie.
No formal training. Taught himself to play - - plays from the heart.

Doesn’t like drum solos. I never thought I’d hear a drummer say that! LOL! We’re on the same page there.

Interesting interview. Would have been nice if they’d played more of that swing jazz though. What they showed was good stuff!
