It sounds differently to me. Gorka is a well-respected voice of truth. My take is:
PDJT basically agrees with Gorka. However the real Power Force that runs the world, whose names we will probably never recognize, told him exactly what they would permit him to do, and what will not be allowed.
Whatever “they” are called, Shadow Gov’t, etc., I believe they direct the entrenched Fed workers, “Deep State”, and will take out whoever stands in their way. (See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHbrOg092GA for more info if interested).
I think PDJT is boxed in and is working hard to find a way to satisfy this Force, all the while still trying to help the Forgotten Man.

It would pay better and he could do the same thing that he was doing at the White House. Gorka had a pay level but no actual position while he was there. He wasn’t on the NSC as some assume. He was defending the Trump admin on news shows. People need to be wary of chasing the cage of rabbits that Team Trump likes to unleash for the press to chase. Don’t get clowned by our own side.
