Has he refused to speak to a liberal group (not that I expect he’d be asked)? If not, there is not a demonstration of partiality so far.

Even if the President kept the guest register and counted each dime received, any speaker at an event at that hotel is still free to say what is on his/her mind.
I suppose if the amazon or facebook billionaire becomes president, that means anyone using those sites is automatically impartial.
“He can’t be impartial...he order a socket wrench from amazon.”

Sounds like the signal for a start of a political struggle campaign against Gorsuch
Is he a closeted Confederate? A neo-Nazi? Or - A Russian agent!

The author’s unhappiness is a pleasure to read, but if you REALLY want to put a smile on your face go to the comments section and read all the hyperventilating snowflakes as their heads spin round and round.
(I only read a few comments. I know on some of these comments sections conservatives start showing up after a while. I used to do it myself, but found it to be too much work. I do have to give the compost credit, however, that they still allow comments. Most of the DNC-approved media has removed comments to articles.)

I didn’t realize there were different ways to interpret the law - based on the political views of the participant(s).
IOW - pound sand WAPO, a justice can speak to whomever they want (or does it only matter if the audience is conservative?).

Impugning his impartiality because he is speaking at the Trump Tower in DC is a bit of a stretch...

Based on the admittedly small sample size, Gorsuch is between SouteSouter and Day O’Connor so far. We didn’t really know what Roberts was for a while.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Uh, Gorsuch didn’t pick the venue.....the “conservative group” did.

Yes, of course, Trump conspired with the Russians to become president so that he could enrich himself. He might starve without that extra 10 million or so he will make off that Washington hotel.
One of the many reasons I like Trump is that, unlike most others in Washington, he doesn't need the money or the power. He cannot be bought. That leaves him free to make the right decisions without thinking about how they will effect his personal fortune.

Elizabeth Wydra is president of the Constitutional Accountability Center.Which by its name opposes suppression of free-speech by organizations that propound violence against view points they disagree with. Oh, not true?
