Maryland Dem Gov Candidate Caught Voting In Washington While Registered In Maryland
Republican Governor's Association ^ | August 11, 2017 | RGA

Maryland Democrat gubernatorial candidate Krishanti Vignarajah’s campaign roll-out is off to a rough start. Just days after declaring her candidacy, it was reported that she has been a registered Washington, D.C. voter, despite also being registered in Maryland, and has cast her votes in DC elections since 2010. Even though Vignarajah lived just minutes away from Maryland for years and maintained a Maryland residence, she chose to vote in DC.

Bethesda Magazine reports:

“Vignarajah, 37, an attorney, first registered to vote in Maryland in 2006 at an address in Catonsville. However, she didn’t vote in the state until the 2016 general election, according to her Maryland voting history, which Bethesda Beat obtained.

While her Maryland registration remained active, she registered to vote in D.C. on Sept. 14, 2010, then voted in the city’s primary the same day, according to her D.C. voting history, also obtained by Bethesda Beat.

"This will not hurt her (Krishanti Vignaraja, Hindu) in the least..........."

You are undoubtedly correct.

No wonder our foreign policy was such a mess under the Obama administration....all you need is to be a liberal minority female, barely out of your twenties, a glib talker, have an exotic foreign name, and, armed with a degree from leftist Yale, voila!....you become a close policy advisor to the highest names in the country who are making the highest decisions affecting we the people, i.e.....providing policy advice to the former First Lady Michelle Obama, the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, plus her successor John Kerry.

Now she wants to be a governor...(what's wrong with a little itty-bitty voter fraud on her resume?)

This babe is on a roll....tomorrow, the world!

We elected one of those, Pramila Jayapal, to replace our illustrious Jim McDermott in Congress. She’s just another radical commie troublemaker. Her schtick is women’s rights, primarily abortion.

Under the Maryland constitution, to be governor, someone must be at least 30 years old and have lived and been registered to vote in Maryland for the five years leading up to the election.

Count the active registration in DC and make her ineligible run to in MD. Or count MD registration to run in MD and consider DC vote a crime.

I’d be interested in seeing her state and local tax returns. Did she vote where she wasn’t paying taxes (DC), or was she a resident where she wasn’t paying taxes (Maryland)?

Great question! DC and Maryland won’t care about the votes, but they will care if taxes aren’t being paid.

The Democrat will win Maryland as our NeverTrumper Hogan, is also full bore for taking down Confederate Statues.

He is done and has no chance now. In Maryland, you need 100 percent of GOP vote or forget it.

Hell, I may vote for the Dem.

I’m a little ticked at Ryan, McConnell and the GOP in general.

Wait a minute, there is no significant voter fraud /S

I spent almost 2 decades as resident in WA state, where voter registration does not require proof of citizenship, and 100% voting is by mail, which means no photo ID required. The mailman can keep all the ballots and vote away.

So why is this woman not being prosecuted by AG Sessions? Is there not evidence available of fraud?

You're right - person would have to actually VOTE in two districts for it to be fraud.

With the computer capabilities we have now - - it seems a person registering in a new location should be able to name the country or State where they had last voted - and have their name automatically removed from the old rolls as the new registration took effect.
