Rosemary began a second career in the Eighties when she methodically took on the composers of the Great American Songbook in a series of disks. This is from a live performance at the White House in 1993, and while she looks like somebody’s grandmother and has grown as big as a house, it doesn’t get in the way of her chops. She turns the White House lawn into an intimate jazz club.

Glad you had a good time. A shame she has to get back home so soon but her kitteh will be glad to see her again. They don’t like being left behind. At least she only has the one to tear up the house while she’s gone. LOL

Things are ok here. We went out for a bit to celebrate Hubby’s birthday but that ended sooner than we hoped. The bar had a band tonight that was NOT good and we all left fairly early.

The lil darlings are not being very darling tonight. They’re wound up like two-dollar watches. Just had to clean up the mess they made knocking over a trash can.
