The Salvation Army, the American Red Cross and Susan G. Komen on Friday joined a growing exodus of organizations canceling plans to hold fundraising events at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, deepening the financial impact to President Trump’s private business amid furor over his comments on Charlottesville.
The major exits now mean eight of the club’s biggest event customers have abandoned it this week, likely costing the Trump business hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost revenue or more.

I respected them because they stayed out of politics, or at least weren't overt about it. I have contributed to them as far back as I can remember, but I guess won't miss losing one more bit of my past.
I have a hard time believing the SA pulled out.. top-notch organization.. these organizations get liberals put in positions of power and soon ruin all the goodwill built over years and years..

See, that’s the thing...major multinational corporations and non-profits are the ones who drive the diversity agenda. So their money flows generally to the Left. For example, I have worked for some of the world’s biggest corporations in the automotive and banking industries. They are always pushing diversity and inclusion in their internal communications. But diversity and inclusions does not include whites, especially white males. White females are included only if they espouse leftist points of view. The company I currently work for has 10 diversity teams and not one of them includes white males. There is a women’s one, but again, only women with leftist viewpoints need participate. The 10 are Asian, black, diverse abilities, Latin, middle east, millennials and younger, native, pride, veterans and women.

The Red Cross has been on my ban list for decades after they were charging for everything from sandwiches to blankets.
The Salvation Army just got marked off my good list and put on the ban list.
Susan G. Komen has been on shaky ground for not disturbing enough of their take. The in-laws ask us to walk. Nope, no more. The ban list has grown considerably this week.

Girl I was in graduate school with worked for Red Cross one summer - said she’d never give money to them again after seeing how so much was wasted in perks and privileges for the administrators and officers (including fancy offices and accommodations) - Trump is doing a good job of bringing into focus just how much of what goes on in this country is actually Kabuki dances among various fiefdoms, each running their little scams to wheedle money out of the public for this or that good cause but all playing the you-rub-my-back-I’ll-rub-yours game to get along, with not a bit of integrity or principle among them.....
