The Salvation Army, the American Red Cross and Susan G. Komen on Friday joined a growing exodus of organizations canceling plans to hold fundraising events at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, deepening the financial impact to President Trumps private business amid furor over his comments on Charlottesville.
The major exits now mean eight of the clubs biggest event customers have abandoned it this week, likely costing the Trump business hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost revenue or more.

I have never donated to Susan G. Komen and stopped giving to the Red Cross years ago. Now I can add the Salvation Army to the list of banned charities. Should save me quite a bit of money around the holidays. Gonna send them an email too.
Yep. I vet my charities pretty closely and have given money to the Salvation Army for years. Not another dime.
Komen is circling the drain, big time pro abortionists, donate a lot of money to Planned Parenthood. They went bankrupt here in Arizona bwah hah hah.
This good man is sacrificing so much for the love of his country. They’d never stay there again, anyway, so it won’t hurt him in the long run. We must pray for him.
I’m not eating at Jack in the Box even for you, SF!
Its too bad for the Salvation Army because I bet there aren’t too many lefties that put money in those kettles.
My E mail:
You lost my support. Pulling an event from Mar a Lago because of some BS media hysteria has caused me to look for other avenues for my donations. You were, accent on were, my second largest yearly donation after my church. I am also changing my list of organizations in my will. You will not miss the 50K as you will be having your events at some lefty supporting site.
Too bad.
Pulling both. Only one I contribute to now is the USO. I also support the Union Gospel Mission in Seattle but that’s it.
No bucks in the Red kettle for me this year. Usually plunk in at least 50.
So the Salvation Army is now a political organization ... very well. "But it'll cost ya."
No more checks in response to mail or phone solicitations. No more dropping twentys or the occasionaly fifty in the red kettle throughout the holidays. No more clothing and other high-quality items dropped off to your store here in town.
I do not abide such shenanigans ... especially from a Christian organization.
You should reconsider your decision to abandon the Constitution of our Great Republic. If you do, I'll come back.
Heard that also from my great grandad. The SA gave them away free.
This is a REALLY dumb move by the Salvation Army. I would guess that 90% of their contributions come from people with conservative, traditional values. In the envelope that was going to contain a check, I wrote a letter telling why I will no longer support them. I bet I am not the only one. There are many alternatives.
The SA has always been a righteous organization.. must be some dumb butt running the show now.. really surprised.. Red Cross.. they are really bad.. they will take your money and do nothing.. Trump will be fine.. for every seat there is a new ass ready to make the ride..
Hmmmm... good thinking. No need to look up email addresses otr phone numbers. They provide a big ol’ kettle to drop in personal messages.
They are ALL a scam. It is well documented by the financial disclosures. They claim not for profit but they bring in big loot. Komen is a fraud because they LOVE abortion while claiming to Pink it up to save women. Red Cross is a shell company for Libtards and Salvation Army is run by Libtards as well. Most of these tax dodgers and liberal schmucks generally contribute less than 10% to the actual cause but shell out boatloads to Democrats and bull sh*t liberal causes.
I wonder if someone, or a group, promped the SA that he/she/they would make up any fall off in donations...
If so, who was it?
And if the SA is just gonna take the loss, why in heck are they doing this???
The Red Cross is a political, Globalist organization.. they are really bad.. they will take your money and do nothing.. they pay really high salaries to the brass too.
"Faith in Practice" might be a good alternative...they focus exclusively on Guatemala thru medical teams....I think they're okay...
Thank you.
The betrayals are coming from all sides these days.
Well, there are consequences.
