The mother of a woman killed in violent clashes at a white supremacist rally has said she has "no interest" in speaking with President Donald Trump. Susan Bro said she refuses to speak to Mr Trump after hearing him equate demonstrators, like her daughter, with white supremacists. Her daughter, Heather Heyer, was killed on Saturday after a car ploughed through a crowd of counter-protesters. She said she did not "want to be used for political agendas". Mrs Bro told ABC New's Good Morning America television programme she missed a call from the White House, which appeared to have been made during her daughter's public memorial on Wednesday. She added that she received three more "frantic messages" from Mr Trump's press team later in the day but was too exhausted from the funeral to talk. It was when she saw a news clip of Mr Trump again blaming both sides for the violence that she changed her mind about speaking to the president.
"It's not that I saw somebody else's tweets about him, I saw an actual clip of him at a press conference equating the protesters... with the [Ku Klux Klan] and the white supremacists," she said on Friday. "You can't wash this one away by shaking my hand and saying, 'I'm sorry.' I'm not forgiving that." A day earlier Mrs Bro told MSNBC she had received death threats after speaking out about her daughter's death and the president's comments.
Mr Trump drew outrage this week after reversing his condemnation of Saturday's far-right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which was supported by white supremacists and neo-Nazis protesting against the removal of a statue of Robert E Lee, a general who had fought for the pro-slavery Confederacy during the US Civil War.

Trump did not equate her daughter with White Supremacists.
Trump said there was violence on both sides, he did not say or imply that included her daughter.
There were mixtures of people on both sides, and among them some went their innocently, but not all. On both sides some groups went willing and ready to commit violence. Trump in now way implied that meant the girl who died. She went there innocently enough. That does not mean every else she joined with did, and when it comes to Antifa THEY certainly did not.
Does anyone doubt the MSM is feeding her salad bowls of fake news?
When I see a story like this, I also speculate that a lot of people are starting to believe that the guy who is custody for driving into the crowd is going to get off on the most serious charges against him.

Trump specifically said, “I hear she was a fine — really, actually, an incredible young woman.” People are really going out of their way to be stupid. Most people will see right through this.

No one wants to believe that they screwed up their own kids this much. So, they blame all of their problems on someone else - usually some one/thing that is very public and may try to buy their way out of the spot light.
I am fairly confident he will go to jail forever, unless there is something none of us know. I just don’t see how the girls death could warrant a murder charge.
The murder charge was a reflexive response, and was also aimed at holding him without bail while the investigation and extensive forensic police work is done. There are far too many mitigating factors here that add up in the “reasonable doubt” category to make a murder charge stick, in my humble opinion.

I would say that that one mention of his title was done only as a matter of form, to distinguish him from Donald Jr.
Of course he didn’t make that equation. They didn’t listen carefully to what he did actually say, and the MSM is deliberately feeding and furthering the deception.
Initially I did feel sympathy for her loss. Now I couldn’t care less. Too freaking bad, you stupid mother, for raising a child as stupid as you are. My sympathies will only be extended to patriots who are injured or suffer for the cause of liberty.
