A Charlottesville police officer has come forward to express his outrage at being told to “stand down” by the city mayor during violent clashes between protesters.
The officer also claims the protests, which pitched “white supremacists” against members of Antifa, were “set up” to allow for the groups to ignite into exactly what happened.
“We [Charlotesville police] were ordered to bring the rival groups together. As soon as they were in contact with each other, we were told to stand down. It was outrageous. We weren’t allowed to arrest anyone without asking the mayor first. We weren’t even allowed to stop the driver as he sped away.“
“The event was being set up as far back as at least May and it went like clockwork.”

The whole point of street activist groups like Antigua is to suppress and intimidate any opposition. Worked like a charm.

Some of us have been saying all along that this was a contrived event, likely with paid Soros actors on both sides, with the intent of provoking a response. Also, the deep state want to use events like these to build a case for impeachment. They may yet succeed, since we don’t have too many leaders who care about truth or have principles and backbone.
Too bad this is just someone’s blog. The source they cite is another blog. Rinse and repeat.
Pretty much squares with what I heard on Monday from VA State Police officers, a few of whom said that they were ordered to drive the two groups together.
There’s a LOT about this whole thing that stinks to high heaven, not the least of which is the fact that Terry McAwful was directly involved. His statement that the “White Nationalists” were better armed than the Virginia State Police and had arms caches all over the area seems to have disappeared. Even the NYT has deleted any reference to his statement from their original story.
If this is from an anonymous source, then nobody has “come forward” at all.

I’m saddened to hear of this courageous LEO’s tragic death this coming weekend.
Well, whether or not this is true, the fact is that something went terribly wrong on the law enforcement end of things in Charlottesville. They need a thorough investigation and if the Governor is playing politics with the lives of his constituents, that needs to be brought out in unambiguous terms.
That’s right.
