Yes, this story has my BS light flashing. It appears there was a stand-down order, but to attribute a specific motive to it requires more evidence than an alleged quote from an anonymous cop. Hopefully the Sessions investigation will look into all aspects of this incident, and not just at the motives of the man driving the car.
