CBS reported Sunday that the majority of expecting mothers in the country or close to 100 percent who received a positive test for Down syndrome terminated their pregnancy.
The network tweeted on Sunday, "Iceland is on pace to virtually eliminate Down syndrome through abortion. #CBSNOA learns more, tonight at 10pm ET/PT."
The 59-year-old actress took to Twitter with a heated reply, taking aim at the wording of the CBS tweet and Iceland in the process.
"Iceland isn't actually eliminating Down Syndrome. They're just killing everybody that has it. Big difference," she wrote.

Supposedly it is how march of dimes now erradicates child ailments
China’s been doing it for 6 or 7 decades.
Yes. The cannister episode was hilarious.
Bravo! Hitler was curing Judaism the same way.
I used to watch that show back when I was watching TV. I would think the kids got to old?
Good for her for calling CBS out on this. Typical liberal spin of words.
Yes.They did.
+1
Everyone should read “A Sign for Cain” by Frederick Wertham, in which he details how the Nazis systematically destroyed lives “without value” in the late twenties and the thirties in Germany. They cleaned out the old age homes first, then the institutions for the mentally ill, and then the orphanages. With the kids, they singled out “bed wetters and those with big ears or red hair.” The early modus operandi was to just starve them to death. That took too long, so they got their gas chambers going.
“eliminate Down syndrome through abortion”

“Iceland is on pace to virtually eliminate Down syndrome through abortion.”
They’re the world’s worst hacks.
Sanger was just getting rid of sickle cell anemia
Bravo Patricia! Now waiting for the Pope’s response.
Could be, but you’d could also argue that the show has pretty much run its course.
The kids, except for Brick, are pretty much adults, and the show was really about the family relationship with the kids.
It is the one sitcom where the Dad isn’t portrayed as a helpless idiot who the wife and kids continually outsmart. I liked that.
Good for her!!!
not eliminating down syndrone, but the sweet young lives that display it.
sad. very sad.
Yes, which is why I no longer contribute to March of Dimes.
Good for her calling out the MSM for pushing leftist agenda with yet more biased distorted “reporting”.
Nice wrack!
