A white nationalist was fired from his job after Twitter users began naming and shaming alt-right supporters involved in yesterday's deadly Charlottesville rally.
The rally - which was described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as 'the largest hate-gathering of its kind in decades in the United States' - attracted thousands from neo-Nazi groups, the Ku Klux Klan and other far-right organizations.
It also culminated in a horrifying alleged attack on a group of antifascist counter-protesters as alleged white supremacist James Alex Fields Jr allegedly drove into a crowd, killing one person and injuring 19 more.
As the reverberations of that deadly assault continued to be felt on Sunday, Twitter user Yes, You're Racist began naming and shaming those who were photographed waving torches and allying themselves with violent far-right extremists.
The first of those was Cole White, who has now been fired by Berkeley's Top Dog restaurant as a result.

Look if you don’t believe me talk to any Human Resources department in a business.
Our Rights is what the Government can’t do to us.
A business can certainly fire you for your speech. That’s why you never discuss politics, sex or religion in the office. Furthermore, if you live in a “Right to work” State, the business can fire you for anything.
The fact that you do not know this, tells me you have never worked for a corporation.
And brand new Nazi flags -- with fold marks -- right out of the Amazon box? You'd almost think they had never flown one before.
Wut?
Yep, I agree with you about that twit.
So white people are being condemned and fired because theyre proud to be white
Great point about the fold marks!
Everything is new.
“Obviate” is a lovely word, being rare and specific. Most of us need to look it up before using it. Did you really mean “make unnecessary” ?
I am surprised someone can be fired for simply attending a rally...
Does that mean that a person can be fired for attending a pro-life rally or a tea-party rally?
Got First amendment?
Same folks saying hire Kapernick are backing this?
So a national (Daily Mail = international) news site has the right to dox anyone who marches in favor of a Robert E. Lee statue? Or Southern heritage? These tiki torch folks weren’t the ones with Nazi flags.
But publishing their names, city/state is legal?
I know ANTIFA has been doxxed before by 4chan (the famous bike lock assault case in particular).
But a national media website could post their names and home city/state as well just for marching somewhere?
Can they do the same with Black Lives Matter?
I’m honestly curious if there’s a lawsuit for getting doxxed by the MSM?
That’s a good point. The Daily Mail is a British publication. Apparently, some firms in the UK don’t appreciate U.S. customers.
Laws are easier in England to sue newspapers as well. That’s where Melania got a $1 mill+ settlement because Murdoch called her a former prostitute. (Murdoch is on the board of an open borders group and is part of the cheap labor express.)
Back to the doxxing. This Twitter feed could falsely identify people and destroy lives.
Are you a ‘public figure’ for showing up to an event? Holding a tiki torch? Having a doxxing group dox you on Twitter? I don’t think so.
So if the doxxers get the wrong person and the MSM source repeats it = lawsuit.
Someone on another thread noted that one of the white-power leaders - the one who was assaulted yesterday while giving a speech - was, until recently, an OWS type.
This is sure starting to look like a soros stage play.
Social media claims another one. Or two. Or three.
For all we know, the guy may have called out sick from work on Saturday and was fired because his employer found out that he was at a demonstration 3,000 miles away.
Should he, uh, prefer the Bottom Dog role, there is always Folsom Street across the Bay Bridge.
Cumin' up next month.
None of the Black Lives Matter rioters lost their jobs at Ferguson or Baltimore. None of them ever had a job.
Welcome to the new Salem witch trials!
Were the BLM people fired from their jobs for throwing firebombs? Oh, I’m sorry. Jobs! snort. silly me! what was I thinking?
“I guess this is why violent leftist protesters wear masks to their riots.”
Do you really think any leftist protester would face one tiny bit of retribution for their acts? They would be lauded as hero’s by their employer (as if any of them were actually employed). I think the masks are intended to intimidate and cover their frightened snowflake faces.
feels like 1917 all over again
