On August 12, a driver drove his vehicle into a crowd of anti-racist protesters, killing one woman and injuring 19 other individuals. The suspect has been identified as James Alex Fields, Jr.
Department of Memes reported that police officers in Charlottesville believed the driver was not acting maliciously, suggesting he was scared by the protesters on every side of his vehicle and he did not know what to do.
I cannot find the tweets now, but some ANtiFas came with bows and arrows and were displaying them. Downtown. Saw pix on Twitter.
Hey Marco, how did they get all those white supremacists into ONE CAR ????
No matter the facts . . . he will be treated ala George Zimmerman or Darren Wilson of Ferguson.
They don’t need no facts. They have their agenda to follow.
This was self defense pure and simple.
The circumstances seem to warrant self defense, but so far all I have heard are lies from all of the witnesses
My questions too.
Why was the group which had a permit thrown out of the park ?
Why was another group allowed to form, protest when they did not have a permit?
Why was the legal group then led to the Antifa group?
Why was thew police allowing this, and why did they not do enough to protect one group over another group?
LOL Now I am imagining it too.
The left never had a permit in the first place where as the right did,and then told they were not allowed off the cops.
is there any MSM outlet reporting the baseball bat attack to the car prior to the acceleration of the car?
the mayor and police chief should be charged with negligent homicide. i do not see how the charges against the driver could stick.
Im watching FOX online e...about 6PM someone said she was only there to peacefully exercise her right to protest etc
WHOOPS
Interesting that the peaceful protesters came with baseball bats and motorcycle helmets.
if the woman was a protester crossing at the intersection, it is difficult to envision that the driver of the car even saw her, since there were two *stopped* (not “parked”) cars between his car and the fatal victim at the time of first impact. the cars were apparently *stopped* because of an antifa counterprotest.
if the protesters indulged in reckless behavior by participating in walking on streets in a demonstration without a permit, can someone be charged for killing or injuring them while fleeing an attack himself?
personally i do not think i would ever participate in an unpermitted demonstration unless i was angling for a darwin award.
in the videos published online so far, i did see 2 red “MAGA” hats and in the previous evening a chant of “white lives matter,” but that does not ever seem to justify attacking drivers in cars with baseball bats.
VERY good point.
He was speeding down the road before he got hit.

I never saw brake lights.
Ain’t that the truth?!
That ain’t gonna fly. I understand there is video of her on the trunk with a baseball bat breaking out the rear window. Of course the DA will make sure the jury never sees that...
Very important for nation to hear that MARCO RUBIO IS A MORON.
Why can’t we get some decent Republicans????
He's not speeding, but he's not creeping along, either. There is still a good bit we don't know, such as what the driver had encountered and experienced coming down the street before he came to the congested area.
Nobody looks entirely innocent in this incident.
Given the large number of cell phone cameras in use, it seems like someone would have filmed more of the car's approach to the crowd. My guess: they did, and they will never release the video because it does not support the narrative.
State Department assets with ties to the CIA just happened to be there filming.
I watched video...I don’t see anything...
