ALERT!!! - there’s LEPTO bacteria in the Texas Hill Country. Our vet hasn’t seen it for decades but a local dog died of it a couple weeks ago. It grows in standing water so make sure you have no buckets or even something as small as a hoof print that can contain water.

We just back from the vet clinic. L O V E our vet. He takes all the time we need and then some explaining everything about our furbabies and what’s happening with area wide pets. Over an hour with the two slobber buckets for their yearly check up. And $400.

My ancestors owned a handful of slaves but were glad they were freed. Great-grandma said they had to be taken care of like little children (times haven’t improved in that area). Also, in those days, everyone, black or white, ate beans morning, noon and night and they were all sick of beans. So, the slaves weren’t any worse off than their owners.

Thank goodness Trump won or with the way things were headed, we’d all be eating beans again.
