Ben & Jerrys ice cream had to figure it would be one of the last firms in America to come under attack from the liberal misinformation complex.
It has created flavors to honor Democrat politicians, contributed to Democrat campaigns and positioned itself well to the left on social and employment issues. It has cultivated an image of the good capitalist, which can create jobs, lead in its field and do it all in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
But when there became a bigger fish to fry, all the loyalty the company thought it had earned suddenly dried up. And now the knives or at least the ice cream spoons are out for it.

Its thick because it has cream and is not full of air..tastes great.
all ice cream contains air, that one of the difference between ice cream and simple frozen cream:

Unilever’s Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is creamy partly because of artificial thickeners and stabilizers, has been since day one:
haagen-daz is the only commercial ice cream that contains no artificial thickeners and stabilizers:

“all ice cream contains air, that one of the difference between ice cream and simple frozen cream:”
But most contain MORE air then B&J!.
“Unilevers Ben & Jerrys ice cream is creamy partly because of artificial thickeners and stabilizers, has been since day one:”
Your link does not reference B&J.
“haagen-daz is the only commercial ice cream that contains no artificial thickeners and stabilizers:”
Interesting. Your link provides this in the search!
Real Talk: Stop Bashing Ice Cream Stabilizers

“Today, almost anything a name brand produces can be had in a good generic or store brand. “
Except B&J and Haagen-Dazs ...
And you should.
Unilever buys companies that made their name being good products and cheapens them.
If Unilever buys something I quit buying it because the quality is going to go straight down the tubes.
“If Unilever buys something I quit buying it because the quality is going to go straight down the tubes.”
Not entirely true ...
They will succumb to the siren call of cheaper ingredients and less expensive processes. The time varies based on how tightly the contract was written but it happens as fast as they can.
Like the snake, it is their nature.
“If Unilever buys something I quit buying it because the quality is going to go straight down the tubes. “
If and when the quality goes down I may stop buying it.
Till then, I will enjoy my B&J and Magnums!
But enjoy what you like.
In thirteen U.S. states it is easier for food producers to sue their critics for libel. These thirteen states are Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Texas.
The Organic Consumers Association (OCA) is based in Minnesota.
Though the governor of that state is a DFL Democrat, both houses are majority Republican, if just barely so in their senate.
So if their Republican party can persuade the state’s agricultural interests to give them stronger control, and eventually elect a Republican governor, they could also pass an agricultural libel law, which would just nuke the OCA and those troublemakers like it.
Well, what if I self identify as broccoli? Youre an animalist!
“It has already started to go down the tubes and if you compared the quality to what it was ten years ago you would see it easily.”
LOL! Unilever bought B&J SEVENTEEN years ago!
This is the 21st Century. What do mere facts have to do with scientific conclusions?
I was in ice cream at the time.
And I know what they began to do then.
But you just keep on eating it.
“I was born in a welfare state
Ruled by bureaucracy
Controlled by civil servants
And people dressed in grey
Got no privacy, got no liberty
Cos the twentieth century people
Took it all away from me.............”

Luckily, I’m not a vegetarian ...
“And I know what they began to do then.”
What did they do?
Aldi carries some luxury store brand ice cream versions from time to time. Doubtful that either of those folks OEM it.
“Aldi carries some luxury store brand ice cream versions from time to time. “
We get some produce from Aldi but I get my B&J and HD from Publix on 2 for 1 sales.
Usually don’t run out but if I get low, Publix usually has a sale on the above or Klondike or Magnum.
I really do eat too much ice cream.
Just a little.
And then next year a little more.
By ten years ago it was quite noticeable to the ice cream tasters.
But you go ahead eating it.
The commies love your money.
