A Corbin woman was charged with assault Monday night after she poured gasoline over her husband and set him on fire, the Laurel County Sheriffs Office said in a Facebook post.
The victim, whose name was not released, suffered burns on more than half of his body and was taken by helicopter to a Cincinnati burn center for treatment, according to the sheriffs office. He was listed in critical condition.
Vera Wooten, 40, was arrested in London on a charge of first-degree assault.
The attack, sometime before 8 p.m., followed a domestic dispute on Woodland Court, 10 miles south of London, according to the sheriffs office.
Then Wooten apparently drove her husband to St. Joseph London, and from there he was flown to Cincinnati.
She was being held in the Laurel County jail.

Well...at least it wasn’t her wife...
Wimmins beez crazy.
She must have been planning this for a while. A container of gasoline is not brought into the house by accident.
This could have all been avoided with a quick No Fault Divorce.
Officer: “Dispatch, I’ve responded to the call and it appears a woman shot her husband for walking on her recently mopped floor.”
Dispatch: “Have to arrested her?”
Officer: “I’m waiting for the floor to finish drying.”
What time of the month is it?
Charged with assault? Should be mayhem and attempted murder with malice aforethought.
Or something like that.
She’s quite the looker.
That’ll teach him to hog the remote.
Build a man a fire, and he stays warm for a night.
Set a man on fire, and he stays warm for the rest of his life.
Never sing Doors songs to a crazy woman.
This happened in Corbin, KY? Wonder why his sister would do this?
Shes quite the looker.

Yeah, looks like a pile of puke.
More like she should be sniffing luggage at JFK.
Upper left quadrant.
Looking at her photo I think we can safely assume we are way past that point in time.
I had a gal tell me that just that after sticking a 8 inch French knife into her husband killing him.
But I loved him so much.
“Thank you for driving me to the hospital...garrrrr.”
