The horrific treatment of Dr. Paul Church has become a nightmare affecting him, of course, but ultimately all of us as well. Because he told the medical truth and refused to bow to political correctness on this critical public health issue, he has now been banned from four prominent Boston area hospitals and a urology clinic.
This is the frightening state of todays medical profession.
Dr. Church is a urologist who was on the staff of several major Boston area hospitals and clinics for nearly 30 years. He was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. He has done research on diagnosing prostate and bladder cancer, and has spoken to educational and civic groups on the subject of high-risk sexual behaviors.

I’m not sure that’s exactly fair. Nowadays, doctors are under the threat of lawsuit all the time. What if they didn’t order a certain test, and it turned out that you had a condition that could have been discovered? In the past we were not such a litigious society, and physicians didn’t have so much to fear.
I can’t condemn an entire profession because some individuals are padding things, while others are trying to cope under duress. But the health risks of many male homosexual behaviors are so plain, that it seems criminal to refuse to address them publicly and to persecute someone who does.
My doc is a conservative Jew who never takes any time off, except for the high holy days - he’s the hardest working man I’ve ever met; gives me his best advice, but doesn’t press anything when he understands that I’m not willing.
There are a lot of good doctors left, just like there are still a lot of good, principled lawyers - another disparaged group.
I’m just worried about the young ones coming along now, many of whom don’t have the same grounding in a philosophical/religious stance, and are so susceptible to this pressure and brainwashing from powerful, established Organizations.
If only they would keep it behind closed doors. But they force it into everywhere, including kindergartens, hospitals, counseling programs, scouting, blood banking, you name it.
What’s foolish is taking the provocative emotional bait and articulating a response using their terms.
“Disgust”, “Hate”. Either way, they win.

And to those of us who lived in Boston for 50 years and finally moved out.
I’m thrilled at what I have learned what most of the rest of the country is like. And no you can’t know what a place is like after a 1 or 2 week visit.
The locals won’t open up to you until you have lived among them for a year or two. But when they do
