Former Vice President Al Gores new film, An Inconvenient Sequel, came in a dismal 15th this weekend at U.S. theaters, according to Box Office Mojo. Gores defenders have been quick to blame Paramount Pictures for the dismal performance of Gores sequel. Al Gore Gets Ripped Off Again, screamed the headline of D.R. Tucker in Washington Monthly.View post This was not supposed to happen, Tucker wrote, adding, he should have demanded a recount.
Sadly, the box-office under-performance of An Inconvenient Sequel will be seized upon by climate-change deniers as proof that Americans dont really care about this issue, Tucker wrote.
The box office performance will disappoint Gore, who had urged his followers to pack movie theaters to send a message to Trump and the other climate deniers.

When I saw the trailer (before Dunkirk) I stood up called a piece of shit and people laughed.

Took me a moment to get it...then I snort laughed out loud in a quiet waiting room at my auto repair center where my evil suv is getting new brakes because I drive it so fast. Yes, I got some strange looks. Thanks.
Correction: the original film ranked 9th at the box office. So this one dropped 6 spots.
Wagons East was a truly horrific flick.
John Candy died 1/3 of the way into production. They could not figure out what to do after that, and boy, did it show.
Al’s movie had 5,000 per screen
An Inconvenient Troof
Perhaps it was too inconvenient to watch the sequel?!
Looks like it will gross about $2.5 to $3 million in theaters in the U.S when it’s all said and done. With even very minimal advertising cost and the cut for the theaters it will no doubt end up losing money. Don’t see it being a big hit for folks who download movies or buy DVDs/Blu-Ray.
I put John Candy in the same bin as Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Will Ferrell, and about three dozen other SNL alums. Funny, in 2-minute skits. But a whole movie? Not so much.
That’s a Good suggestion...........Way BETTER than GORE’s Ideas!
Probably get another Oscar.
They will end up putting Algore’s movie in every elementary school in the US and little kids, innocent that they are, will believe it because their teacher said it’s true.
I have an eight year old grandson that will fall victim to this, living ina liberal school district. But he has me and his PopPop who teach him right. Right now we have influence over him at this young age.
If he becomes a college student believing this tripe, I’ll just smack him upside his head.
Gore told his followers to pack the theaters and ***send a message to Trump and the other climate deniers***
His wife is gone.
The life he knew is gone.
He clearly doesn’t follow his own rules.
Yet he continues on with this farce - adjusting as needed - having no conscience.
Sad what greed will do to a man.
Among average people global warming and its adherents are a joke. That’s how far Washington is out of touch.
now at number 15 after a week in limited release
daily gross holding at a pathetic $150,000.00 through 8/3/17

but wide release started on 8/4/17 in the U.S., so will have to see if it gets any better.

hated on in audience reviews but loved by professional/leftist (yes i know that’s redundant) reviewers.
Denial runs deep with Gore and the Gore-ons.
