Given the general state of health in Russia, Putin is actually very fit. Of course, he did have military training and still likely practices a lot of the exercises learned from that training.

This isn’t complicated.
Russians love their Country and their Leaders love their Country.
Here, nearly half the spoiled rotten whining Population thinks America sucks, especially if we have a Republican President who proclaims that he loves America.
What he's really laughing at is the the ridiculous chaos and confusion within the U.S.A., viz. decadence, including the stupidity of the American people who take seriously such attempts to reverse the 2016 Presidential Election and to make it impossible for Donald Trump, America's greatest Champion and Hero, to save America from destruction.
It's gotta be funny watching America from Russia: how the mighty U.S.A. won the Cold War and then destroyed itself with internal moral rot and decay, the same thing that destroyed the mighty Roman Empire.
But even in Russia, America's Fall must be grotesque: i.e. a combination of the hilarious and the horrifying.
Moral rot and decay "movements"...all implemented by the Soviet Union, way back in the 60s.

Russians have always preferred autocracy. That’s why it’s folly to think they would ever accept a US-type government structure.
Make no mistake (Marx and Engels French, English and German Supported) Marxism is the culprit that "Implemented" Socialist Rot and Decay movements in both Russia and the US.
While the first victims (the Russians) were forced by the Soviet to support and promote this rot, we had our very own Commie traitors working with that support from the early 20th Century on to today.
Russian citizens like Putin because they know he’ll do the best he can for Russia - he loves his country. Their care for Putin as a leader has nothing to do with ‘celebrity’ or ‘fitness’ or any of that crap...
The same types of lies are put out about Trump - “that’s it’s celebrity”... or some other equally shallow crap. But it’s not - it’s that citizens feel Trump cares about our country and he’ll do the best for us that he can.
Same with Putin.

Once the Russians get their murder rate, alcoholism rate, abortion rate, and life expectancy close to that of the United States they can laugh.
