The complaint alleges that the Heritage Oak Private Education school in Yorba Linda “unlawfully discriminated against Nikki,” and elaborates: “Heritage Oak repudiated Nikki’s core identity. It refused to use the name, pronoun, and gender corresponding to Nikki’s gender identity, required Nikki to wear the boy’s uniform and use the boy’s restroom, and failed to address the bullying that Nikki was subjected to because of her gender identity and gender expression.”
The complaint also describes the harm that Nikki allegedly suffered:
Seven-year-old Nikki became depressed and talked about self-harm; she isolated herself socially and would not play with other children at recess because she could not be herself with them; she would not participate in school-related events after hours when she had to wear boy’s clothes; and she felt that the school was blocking her “inner light.” On the day when she tore a photograph of herself in half and cried out, “I hate myself,” Nikki’s parents had no choice but to remove her from the school and homeschool her for the rest of the year.
In its “statement of facts” elaborating on the details of the case, the complaint asserts: “It is a scientific truth that, for certain children, their inner sense of themselves—their gender identity—does not correspond to the sex assigned to them at birth.”
The suit refers to California civil rights law, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender, which means biological sex as well as “gender identity and gender expression.”
In a statement reported by the Orange County Register, the school said that it had accommodated older transgender students without a problem, and that it had tried to work with Nikki’s parents, but that they rejected its approach.

It depends on what their fathers are like ... and "overly girly" is both imprecise and a value judgment.
More to the point, my personal opinion, after reading many of these stories about "transgendered" young children, is that the key factor is not genetics or hormones in the water, but nutty, attention-seeking parents. In the case of teenagers, the key factor seems to be abuse/neglect.
My earlier post was about why liberal culture seems to be all-in behind "transgenderism": because it's a logical foundation for their beliefs about homosexuality. This is an aspect of a worldview that deifies "choice" while at the same time contending that nobody is actually a conscious agent making rational choices in life.
If these people get their way we’ll all be altruistic girly spinster aunts. It will be a kitty paradise!
I agree. God created all children male and female. Accept it parents!
1) The mother desperately wanted a girl, and was devastated when her baby was a boy.
2) The first time her little boy did a stereotypically female activity—we don’t know what—the mother was delighted and took that as a sign that her son was *destined* to be a girl, and that a horrible accident of birth caused him to have male genitalia.
3) From that day forward, she treated her son as if he were a daughter, and in a supreme exercise of confirmation bias, refused to acknowledge any male characteristics and behavior.
Munchausen by proxy, indeed. The kid needs to be removed from that dysfunctional family, ASAP. He is being destroyed by a man-hating mother who subconsciously has been punishing him since birth for the “sin” of not being female.
Well, my theory is that this is a way of sterilizing everyone who doesn’t fit in while at the same time keeping a fair number of future leaders from ever being born.

Could have been as simple as holding a doll or pushing a doll carriage————how very sad.

My comments make perfect sense, and we do have a long standing social experiment to consider.
Can you think of a place where women are seen and not heard, are expected to be passive, and are not allowed out of the house without a male family member to act as a minder? How are they doing from the perspective of fielding decent leadership?
The child needs psychiatric care, not enabling his mental illness.
If the child “identified” as a horse, should the parents expect the school to go along and feed him hay?
Parents...your child is a boy...he has an outie (a penis for those in Rio Linda), not an innie (the vagina). You are harming him...he is XY, not XX...
It makes me wonder what these evil parents would do to get their child out of eating broccoli. Dress the kid up as a cat?
