Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be joined by intelligence officials early Friday in a briefing on the leaks of classified information that have plagued the Trump administration.
Sessions will be joined by Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and National Counterintelligence and Security Center Director William Evanina on Friday in Washington to discuss "leaks of classified material threatening national security," the Justice Department said Thursday afternoon.

I am beginning to believe that they have something on Sessions or he is the biggest wuss in the world. It might be both.
I can’t believe that Trump will be happy with this press conference.
When will Hillary Clinton be charged with violating the handling of Classified Information?
Where are the DOJ people and why is this glaring injustice still evident to all.......except them?
How many months have passed by allowing for the Clinton Camp to destroy evidence?
The people see that absolutely nothing is being done.
Bottom line is the DOJ is afraid of something. These people are all afraid of something. This fear is greater than the consequences of giving a free pass to known corrupt administration officials. Sad.

This might have some promise. It says that DOJ is looking into subpoenaing reporters who receive the classified material. Now, imagine what could be done here. Subpoena every single reporter who has printed illegal leaks over the past 7 months. There are probably several hundred. All of them, to a person, will refuse to testify over a non-existent reporter privilege. They are all in fact conspirators to espionage and to a scheme to subvert the constitution.
But be that as it may, even if they aren’t prosecuted themselves, they are required to testify about people who did the leaking. And when they don’t, what happens? They all go to jail for contempt. Imagine. Half the staff of the Wapo and NYT in jail for months and months. No computer access, limited visitation. That would be like a vacation.
I’m with you. Have always liked Sessions as a Senator, then very happy that he supported Trump, early on...but....now I am exasperated with him and his inabilities.
He’s been given more low hanging fruit, against a Crime family and former admin, than ANY other AG (that I can think of)...yet he rolls over like a skeert dog....or....something.

It was a dog and pony show for Trump’s benefit. He won’t fall for it. If anything, it demonstrates more clearly that Sessions was a bad pick, and that following Priebus’ advice by putting establishment Republicans like Coats in key positions was a terrible decision. He was trying to get along with the GOPe and it is coming back to bite him.

Do nothing. Or, a 4th-level clerical worker will be handcuffed, charged, and three years from now will be found not guilty and $769K of back pay and pension payments will be restored.

I think Sessions might be afraid, and so fails to act, and the rest of DOJ and the intelligence community just don’t like Trump and so are working to undermine him and hopefully, get rid of him.
