Jerusalem Post columnist Caroline Glick wrote Wednesday evening that National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster is purging pro-Israel staff from the National Security Council (NSC), turning the administration against President Donald Trumps policies.
In a Facebook post, Glick noted that all of these people whom McMaster has fired this week Rich Higgins, Derek Harvey, and Ezra Cohen-Watnick are pro-Israel and oppose the Iran nuclear deal, positions that Trump holds.
She noted that the firings were the latest evidence that NSA McMaster is deeply hostile to Israel and to Trump:
According to senior officials aware of his behavior, he constantly refers to Israel as the occupying power and insists falsely and constantly that a country named Palestine existed where Israel is located until 1948 when it was destroyed by the Jews.
Many of you will remember that a few days before Trumps visit to Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu בנימין נתניהו and his advisers were blindsided when the Americans suddenly told them that no Israeli official was allowed to accompany Trump to the Western Wall.
What hasnt been reported: it was McMaster who pressured Trump to agree not to let Netanyahu accompany him to the Western Wall. At the time, I and other reporters were led to believe that this was the decision of rogue anti-Israel officers at the US consulate in Jerusalem. But it wasnt. It was McMaster.
And even that, it works out wasnt sufficient for McMaster. He pressured Trump to cancel his visit to the Wall and only visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial ala the Islamists who insist that the only reason Israel exists is European guilt over the Holocaust.
Glick noted that the three latest firings were not McMasters first attack on pro-Israel officials, or those critical of radical Islam.

“in the business world”
That may be the problem...this isn’t the business world..its politics and especially dirty politicians.
It doesn’t help that politicians are not required to produce anything..it’s all “free” money and it’s fairly easy to become rich doing virtually nothing.
A letter from H.R. McMaster said Susan Rice will keep her top-secret security clearance
I think Trump is star struck with generals. He talked about Patton so much during the campaign, so, therefore, I think he is enamored with their military rank and isn’t using good common sense to look beneath the surface.
I'm wondering if Trump is being overly influenced by Ivanka and Jared.
K.T. McFarland sounds like a good replacement for McMaster.
McMaster has got to go!.....................
You may be right. Everyone needs to remember that just like in any other profession, people who wind up in leadership positions in the military may have gotten there becuase they are really good, OR because they are political animals.
Not many...
McMaster's letter to continue Rice's security clearance:
McMaster is McJudas’ boy? Even more reason to fire his a$$ today!
Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives on the radio are on McMaster now too so he is likely gone soon.
Who decided McMaster would be the subject of 4-5 negative articles today and why?
After General Flynn was fired, the article says Trump hired McMaster on the recommendation of Juan McCain.
Seems like Sundance at CTH isn’t buying the articles critical of McMaster.

I think you sniffed out that Carter gal pretty quickly, Sundance. Appeared out of nowhere, with more inside scoops than anybody in the business. I smell a R.A.T.

Its not complex.
There are people who are America Second (and another national lobbying/media ideology first).
McMaster is simply removing those, or pushing those America Second voices down, and keeping the America First policy agenda the primary focus of the NSC.”
Nice find. That much ink out of the blue smells contrived.
What does Rush think? I thought McMaster crafted the trip where Trump visited Saudi A. Israel and the Vatican...also to Poland around G20 which was brilliant.
Giving Rice rope.
Robert Malley was also reported in the papers as Obama’s unofficial “back door” liaison to Assad in Syria.
This needs to be investigated.
Also, as I have previously written, his father was a Communist and probably a KGB asset in both Egypt and France (from which the whole family was expelled as security risks).
Malley is also on the liberal/leftist International Crisis Group (See www.DiscoverTheNetwork.org for details).
If McMasters is behind letting fools and traitors like Rice and Malley and Rhoades, keep any type of security clearance, then he has got to go immediately. He may turn out to be the biggest fool and inside member of the “Deep State”.
If all of what has been charged against him re an internal purge within the NSC is true, then we have found Deep State - McCain Style.
For a man who made “You’re fired!” his career motto, President Trump seems to be having a lot of trouble pulling the trigger lately on many that need to be fired.
Trump isn't some know-nothing politician who has been groomed by wealthy benefactors. He's an astute businessman who is playing on an unfamiliar field. From what I can see, he learns quickly. I doubt if he would have been that successful if he had bad instincts. I do think he has to be careful when dealing with the top military brass—they had to swallow and accept an incredible amount of sh!t under Obama, while pretending it wasn't harming our defense. Bring back Gen Flynn!
Wrong McMaster. The snake in Trump’s woodpile is Herbert Raymond McMaster, not Henry McMaster (who really is a good guy). HR McMaster never supported Trump and was hired in a hurry after Flynn was fired. Many good candidates did not want to accept the position during the firestorm that followed Flynn’s exit as National Security Advisor.
