Later this year unless President Trump intervenes the American people will get access to the last of thousands of secret government files about a turning point in the nations history: the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The National Archives this week released several hundred of the documents, which come from CIA and FBI files, and of course, JFK researchers are scrambling to see whether they contain any new clues about the presidents murder. But many more documents remain under seal, awaiting release by this October, the 25-year deadline set by the 1992 Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act.
The law gives only one person the president the ability to stop the release from happening. He can act only if he certifies in writing that the documents would somehow endanger national security.

I didn’t need to read books to have been involved with people in Texas that wanted to get rid of Kennedy. But that is an interesting twist with Bush, huh? Thanks.
Nope. You are not alone
“Voice analysis” must prove it. Why else would Oswald, a married father, leave his job especially during a historic event outside, take a bus to South Dallas, get a gun and jacket from his house, and hightail it to a movie matinee. Yeah, that sure sounds like the behavior of an innocent “patsy”
Oh yeah, and killed a cop along the way. Or was that a multiple shooter conspiracy too?
GMAFB
all the evidence points to one man only..Oswald...the lefties just wanna say that JFK would have pulled out of vietnam....no proof of that either. Its always the last part of any JFK movie or book.
As it was, Oswald was regarded as a poor shot by Marines and others who saw him shoot for target practice. Over the years, no expert marksman has duplicated Oswald's supposed feat when tested under equivalent conditions. Repeated attempts to do so at Quantico failed, and famed Marine sniper Carlos Hathcock has been quoted as saying that I dont know how many times we tried it, but we couldnt duplicate what the Warren Commission said Oswald did."
James Files was the actual shooter (one of several and the one who fired the kill shot). Look on YouTube for the interviews with him and see if you aren’t convinced.
It was a mob/CIA hit.
Gonna say, “Like, Dude, I got other priorities.”
LBJ was certainly a piece of work....
When you tried to tie Billy Sol Estes into this mess you scorched your tin foil hat. Time for a rebuild.
Democrats will block the release somehow.
Wait and see.
I agree....we don’t need that can opened.
I’m with you. Always liked the line that when people admire a guy and hold him up to be great, they cannot comprehend that such greatness can be brought down by one guy alone. It must be a conspiracy.
So was Nixon- the gang was all there!
I believe the conspiracy theories are there because the Left wants us to believe that Right Wing forces killed Kennedy...Kennedy was a hardcore anti-communist right-winger when it came to foreign policy.
LBJ and his friends and family in the CIA, FBI, and organized crime.
Stone’s book is excellent and imho a significant contribution to the subject.
Oswald was a patsy as he claimed.
For interesting reading (and new information on what the intelligence community was up to in the Kennedy years) take a peek at “Dr. Mary’s Monkey” by Edward T. Haslam
The elder Bush was in Dallas the day before, as advertised in the Dallas Morning News. He was campaigning for his a Senate run.
“At the actual time of the assassination, Bush was in Tyler...a man named Aubrey Irby-was with Bush at the time of Kennedy’s murder. Along with about a hundred other people. For Bush was about to give a luncheon speech at the Blackstone Hotel. He had just started when Irby told him what had happened. Bush called off the speech.”
The story about Bush not remembering comes from Kitty Kelley. Yet we know exactly where he was. It’s interesting how one mention of the assasination of JFK turns Free Reoublic into a version of DU if it was run by Alex Jones.
