The health care push collapsed. The White House is the scene of a frantic game of musical chairs. And the looming specter of the Russia investigation has plagued President Trump since he took office.
But amid the chaos, the Trump administration is steadily making progress on a campaign promise that will outlast this administration for decades: the confirmation of federal judges to lifetime positions on the bench. Trump wooed wary Republicans last year with pledges to appoint conservative judges. His administration so far has delivered.
The White House has announced more than two dozen lower court nominees to date, and the Senate Judiciary Committee has been holding hearings and sending nominees to the full Senate for a vote at a regular clip.

This is the most important reason we elected Trump. If he can stack the benches with young, solid conservatives, his legacy will be established far beyond his years.
The healthcare push hasn’t collapsed. The left is used to claiming victory and having the fight end.
They have erred.
Funny, the spectre of the Russia investigation isn't doing much looming these days now that the Democrat Awan scandal is gaining steam.
God bless him! Now, if General Kelly will insist on Trump running his tweets by him BEFORE he impulsively sends them out - GETTING OFF MESSAGE, he’ll be back on the road to being a GREAT president.
Jam the lower benches with Bill of Rights originalists.
Putin knows and understands the fickle American Congress and these two guys will play the game ... they're both good at it.
What the Socialists ‘see’ as ‘chaos’ is simply Prestidigitation, performed by President Trump...
Every. Single. Day. :)
*TRUMP BUMP*
Looking forward to his next SCOTUS retiree and the replacement by Trump! This will be momentous.
McConnel refused to seat 81 on BO’s nominees leaving them for Trump. I’ve been trying to follow. But haven’t found the senate confirmation hearing on any but first two. Anyone know who has been confirmed?
Trump sent two groups of 10 at a time.

Trump should let it go into the next election. obamacare will continue to collapse and premiums will go up. Trump can then tell voters to consider those that voted to keep obamacare (demos and repubs). They’re the ones that need to go.
Dems would have been better off putting the blame on republicans if obamacare was repealed.
Two dozen out of nearly 300 empty positions. He’s moving at a snails pace.
Oh please.
Stop drinking the kool-aid.
The only people who think theirs anything wrong with Trump’s tweets are his enemies trying to make mountains out of molehills, and those who still haven’t figured out you win by defeating your enemies, not by trying to get them to kill you less.
To listen to the media, you’d think “beleaguered” means “syphilitic, genocidal, pedophile.
His tweets are just not that bad.....
more than judges, the immediate, urgent need is to confirm the FBI director
Sessions needs him, bad

Phhht!
Exactly. While all the FReeper snowflakes get all twisted over some WH staff changes, POTUS has been doing some vital changes from immigration to judges. Things that will have more impact way after he’s gone from office than anything else.
I’d rather he raise Cain with the Senate to get the judge positions filled instead of blustering about another healthcare vote. Trumpcare isn’t going to be much better than Obamacare as far as most of us are concerned and it’s something the next Democrat administration will reverse anyway.
