WASHINGTON President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the presidents senior staff.
The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kellys request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.

You NEVER read the article, you obviously didn't hear Rush's show today, and you're just stuck on STUPID...repeating, robotically, like a broken record, the same stupid post. Pity that......
Exactly...President Trump has actually accomplished quite a lot considering the obstacles he faces every day...
Yeah, it was like this guy went from the smartest guy in the room, to the dumbest. No doubt he was drunk.
I believe that was Jared and Ivanka.
Most importantly, he has no ego or inflated sense of self. I've known a lot of senior officers, and he was almost unique in that regard. I thought last week there was no way he'd tolerate a foul-mouthed braggart like Mooch, and I imagine he discussed that with Trump last week.
Those of us privileged enough to know General Kelly likely are all feeling the same - our country got very, very lucky to have him in this position at this time. Good sign that Trump recognized his character and talent and put him in that role.
Try to find anyone who served with Gen. Kelly who believes him to be a "political" animal. He knows how to work within teams, and both how to follow and how to lead. He understands politics without playing them. He's not the stereotyped creature of the Pentagon some think of when they think of Flag officers.
Trump is trying to create a chain of command he can trust.
It is above my pay grade but he seems to know how to get the enemy close and then eradicate them.
He needs a governance that will listen, and that is impossible with the leaks. The media is hell-bent on blocking him from anything. People here are wary of anyone and I don’t blame them.
It is time for facts. The people can handle it.
He made a big mistake. He was angry because of the leakers. He said some vulgar, vile things in a phone conservation that he thought was off the record. That said, he was going to go after the leakers. Is Kelly? Kelly is supposed to be taking control, and guess what happened? This got LEAKED to the NYT!
Scaramucci gave up his company and lost his marriage to work for Trump...only to get tossed out after 10 days. It was very telling to me that Ryan Lizza said he was one Trump aide who refused to speak badly of Trump despite other aides doing so. He should have had a chance. Who is going to want to work for the White House if you aren’t a swamp rat if you know you could give up everything and be fired instantly?
So Comey and Kelly are BFF’s right?
Bless your heart.
“snicledring”
Bit early to be hitting the sauce NP? ;-)
You want a weak Chief of Staff? Apparently John F Kelly is a bigger fish than Scar. The communications directly reports to the Chief of Staff.
Gobble gobble.
All that may be true, and hopefully the comment I referenced was not, in fact, expressed anything close to what was actually said. However, the “I am in charge” is seriously about the worst mistake a new leader to ANY organization can make.
Suppose you are on staff and have no idea who this person is or what his background is. Your first thought is what?
OR, he comes to you individually, to your office or cube, asks to sit down or whatever, starts talking to you about your family, what you do for the organization, what things you like, what you don’t like, etc.
Who do you want to bust your ass for?
And yes, you have plenty of time for the latter. If you don’t, you don’t know what the hell you’re doing, regardless of your past experience.
A good leader has plenty of time to figure out who the malcontents are and deal with them appropriately. The military may have a good leadership model for war time or times of emergency, but trying to throw your weight around, especially off the bat, will ALWAYS be counterproductive.
Being a professional is no doubt important, but it is only one part of the equation. Plus, a professional doesn’t say, “I’m in charge.”
I voted for Cruz in the primaries, but the longer Trump is President, the more I like him! If someone screws up badly, they need to be fired.
So your lobotomy is scheduled soon, is it? I do hope that it helps you get better.
I’ll pray for you.
LOL
TYPO...and you’re better than that post; or so I mistakenly once thought.
Sessions next........
Who after that?
You sound like you have had little to no respect for anyone with a higher pay grade than you...
