What will be on CNN a month from now? My prediction: Trump Russia Collusion. What about in six months? The same with the usual 'Trump is bad and Un-Presidential' meme.
To me this will not be news because it will not be anything new.
Therefore CNN is Predictably Unwatchable IMHO.
A neighbor recommended calling CNN’s advertisers to say you won’t buy anything advertised on CNN.
I haven’t tuned to CNN since, well... Never.
When was CNN ever watchable?
Last I looked....the Hallmark Channel on cable...was pulling a bigger audience. If the airports would stop the CNN distribution game and just air travel news...their audience would be half of what it is today.
My belief is that CNN will cheapen itself enough...that some Chinese billionaire will walk in by 2020 and buy the network.

They call it CNN because the Comedy Channel was already taken.
Give it another year or two and CNN will be showing re-runs of 20 year old programs just like HLN.
I really liked "Perry Mason": Maybe they could start running reruns of that.
A few months ago, I forced myself to watch the opening monologue of "Late Night" with Seth Meyers on NBC. Every single lame, pathetic joke was about Trump - every effing one of them! - the ENTIRE monologue was one lousy unfunny joke after another. And the audience was just accepting it. They weren't laughing hysterically because the jokes were DULL - maybe a few hoots and hollers now and then, but for the most part the audience was satisfied with this performance. I imagine them collectively saying, "Oh yes, we are liberal progressives who hate Trump. We get together and we all talk about how much we hate Trump and what a truly awful pig he is, and that is all we ever want to talk about, and we are very, very satisfied with ourselves."

CNN was “unwatchable” many years ago. Business travel kept me on the road a lot and CNN was on almost every airport TV. I couldn’t stand them then and I can’t stand them today, if I were to even watch TV news, which I do not.
I like to watch it when working out on treadmill. Seeing them find breaking news in every nuance ready to report that Trump is finally done is a comedy I cannot resist.

When GWB was president I had satellite radio in my car. On the long drive to and from work I’d listen to the comedy channels. The “comedians” mostly spewed scatological invective about GWB and how stupid conservatives were. What I noticed is after the “jokes” the audience generally applauded. They didn’t laugh. That’s because they agreed with what was said, but it wasn’t funny. The comedy channels were not about humor, they were about supporting an agenda. That is what comedy has become, an agenda support mechanism. We see this in incidents like Kathy Griffin’s severed Trump head.
In a smaller and more subtle way, virtually all of television has become the same; a liberal agenda support mechanism. I think that roughly half of America is turned off by the media’s products and this is fueling the technology change we call cord cutting. The media, at all levels, is committing suicide by being a liberal propaganda mechanism. Let’s face it, propaganda doesn’t sell soap.
I had enough CNN=Clinton News Network in the 90’s for the rest of my life.....
