I remember back in the 80s at one point REM was probably my favorite band......then Michael Stipe started opening his mouth.
Tom selleck is very current. I saw him recently on an interview and he said he doesn’t want to piss off half the country with politics. Good thinking. Even though he’s republican, we don’t need to hear from him. Blue bloods is excellent that’s evough Tom needed.
I still like The Nuge and Moses, this Trump guy is sort of familiar sounding.

In 1986 some friends had an extra ticket to a band I never heard of. I went with them and it turned out to be REM.

REM was pretty good with “The One I Love” (don’t remember it, #9 at Billboard); “Losing My Religion” (#4) and “Stand” (#6 - liked this one a lot).

I was reading a biography on the Grateful Dead, and back in the 60’s a radical would try to use the event for a political soapbox the band would have the offender physically and abruptly ejected. It was their P.A. and nobody was using it except them.
They were also HUGE sports fans.
