Wasserman Schultz Avoiding Reporters Since Awan Arrest

WASHINGTON — Embattled Democratic Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has avoided facing any media since her law enforcement arrested her former IT staffer Imran Awan Tuesday on bank fraud charges.

Wasserman Schultz, who walked down the House Capitol steps late Wednesday afternoon following remarks she made on the floor, caught site of The Daily Caller’s reporter and nervously turned around and ran back up the steps with her staffer in tow.

The Miami Herald reported Thursday night that her spokesman told a reporter Wednesday, as she walked to the floor of the House, that she would not answer questions about Awan.

The Florida Democrat has strictly communicated through office spokesman statements on the matter and even those responses appear to be contradictory.

When the story of Awan’s arrest first broke, Wasserman spokesman David Damron released a statement telling media:

“Mr. Awan previously served as a part-time employee but his services have been terminated,” He added, “No charges, evidence or findings from the investigation have been formally shared with our office, so we cannot comment on them.”

A very naive Congressional Federal Credit Union emplayee wired the loot to Pakistan. See #24 Awan Indictment. http://www.trbas.com/media/media/acrobat/2017-07/70111632278740-26141843.pdf

“nervously turned around and ran back up the steps with her staffer in tow.”

>Her “ass is grass” and she knows it<

I grew up in Brooklyn and we used to say that. I have no idea why it means that someone is through, finished, kaput. Grass? I don’t get it?

Politico blog belated reports (on July 25) that Wasserman-Shultz has been stonewalling their reporter for months. (Reported in a conversational Tweet, not an actual news report.

Because, why?

“Grass? I don’t get it?”

It rhymes-—that’s it.

Makes as much sense as “Your mother wears tennis shoes”.

We used to stack mowed grass into piles. When it had dried we burned it

I.E. she’s toast

Speaking of staffers, maybe a few of DWS’ staffers could be asked a few question about Awan by reporters. After all I is likely that quite a few of them had some instances (over more than a decade) of crossing paths with him. DWS is not the only source of info about Awan’s big adventures on Capitol Hill.

Could be she's not hiding.

Could be she's finally looked in a mirror, and now no one can tell her from a lawn jockey.

Again, in Brooklyn, we’d say, your mother wears army boots. Those, I knew, were fighting words...

Grass? I don’t get it?

The full phrase is, "Your ass is grass and I'm the lawnmower."

Several of these characters were making 6 figure incomes for part time work, apparently. One was working in Pakistan at the time.

It stinks that the media won’t cover it, and the Republicans won’t push the story, but that’s the way it is. Our government is so corrupt!

But Imran was a US govt employee working for Congress, hired by Cong Debbie Schultz.

Is he even a U.S. citizen, or is he just "doing a job that Americans won't do"?

Imran's thirst for money was unquenchable...

Kinda' like all the immigrant muslims from the ME running all the liquor stores in California. Talk about price gouging greedy bastards.
