President Trump has his first Democratic challenger in the 2020 presidential election: Rep. John Delaney of Maryland, who announced his bid Friday.

"The current administration is making us less prosperous and less secure," Delaney wrote in an op-ed in the Washington Post on Friday. "I'm running because I have an original approach to governing and economic policy that can put us on a different course

So 8 years of making us less prosperous and less secure is Trump’s fault? Right. Six months vs. eight years of dem rule.

>>Who?

They have no name recognition. No one has heard of this guy.<<

Given the democrat field, that is a HUGE plus.

That worked out well for Carter and Obama.

Who is John Delaney and why should we care?

Now, somebody like Michael Bloomberg COULD run against Donald Trump, and perhaps could make a very decent showing.

But regardless of whatever setbacks and headwinds that Donald J. Trump may encounter in the next three and a half years, he is just about certain to be returned to office in 2020.

Democrats being Democrats, though, they will put up somebody like Kamala Harris, really whoop it up for her, then will feign great disappointment in the runaway loss.

I don’t expect the Dumbocrats to even field a presidential candidate in 2020. By then, so many DemoRAT leaders will be in prison that there won’t be much of a DimCrat Party left! Trump may very well run unopposed.

Michael Bloomberg should RIGHTLY scare just about everybody. He is an ideologue with a very vindictive agenda, starting with the essential deletion of the Second Amendment.

The next casualty will be the very identity of the United States itself. There are times when government “should infringe on your freedom.” Bloomberg doesn’t think you know what you want, or what is best for you. He has actually said, “you don’t know what you care about. Because what you care about changes with what’s going on in the world, and you need somebody to make those decisions for you.” And Bloomberg has spent his billions trying to be that somebody.

And he is almost TOO interested in the state of everybody’s health. Here’s the list of some of the items on his nanny agenda beyond the Second Amendment: alcohol, calorie counts, carbon, cell phones, cigarettes, contraceptives, composting, fingerprinting, gasoline, noise, politics, privacy, soda, sodium, Styrofoam, taxis, tanning, traffic congestion and trans fats.

Is there ANYTHING this man doesn’t know about what will do you injury? < /sarcasm >

“The current administration is making us less prosperous.....” This clown must be a member of congress because he doesn’t know what the hell is going on.

Yeah, what about Sgt. Derrick Miller, one of your constituents, languishing in Leavenworth due to the Obama DOD's political correctness, John? You've heard about his case over and over, but you've done nothing. Ptooey.
