President Donald Trump brought his bombastic politics to a Boy Scouts event Monday in West Virginia, drawing cheers from the children gathered at the event and prompting comparisons between his rousing rhetoric and Nazi youth rallies from some liberal activists and journalists.
The president, the first sitting U.S. commander-in-chief to address the group since George W. Bush, used his speech to slam the "fake news," demand loyalty from administration officials and advocate for the overhaul of federal health care. He spoke to about 40,000 people at the Boy Scouts of America 2017 National Scout Jamboree.
"As the scout law says, a scout is trustworthy, loyal," Trump said, before adding, "We could use some more loyalty, I will tell you that." As he spoke, the crowd chanted "U.S.A" and applauded, prompting some critics of the president, who has the lowest approval ratings in modern history, to compare his rhetoric to the Hitler Youth, a wing of Germanys Nazi party.

Is this the same Newsweek that quoted an Al Quaeda terrorist from Somalia that hates Trump?
Thought so........
Yahoo posted it - it blew up in their faces, LOL.
They still don’t understand why he won.
I pray they remain ignorant.
No, they must be thinking of an AntiFa demonstration.
Newsweek—figures :(
Wow, so Hitlerian. lol.
Leftists still can't see that they're their own worst enemies.
Oh...boo hoo.
This kind of reporting is so irresponsible. The way they write it is supposed to make the unwashed think that a US President speaking to the Boy Scout Jamboree is some sort of evil aberration that hasn't occurred in ages. There was only one president since George W. Bush who did not address the BSA and that was Barack Hussein Obama. Newsweek has sunk to the lowest level of biased, fake news bilge imaginable. And I'm sure they are busy creating even lower levels as we speak.
That rally really put a scare into the left. The minds of the children are slipping away from them.
Advocates of social liberalism rule public schools from coast to coast.
No. Actually the right has shown time and time again that it can handle patriotism without degenerating into violence.
Contrast that with the left. The terms right and left actually originated in the French Revolution. And the French Revolution provided history with the first sad example of how dangerous the left is when pursuing its goals.
That’s an interesting writing style that Cristina Silva, who has often been compared to Nazi propagandist Josef Goebbels, Stalin’s KGB head Beria, and serial murderer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer, has.
>The president, the first sitting U.S. commander-in-chief to address the group since George W. Bush,
I snorted. If you don’t know why, ask yourself how many commander-in-chiefs we have had since George W Bush
Look, they're Boy Scouts and that's the President of the United States at their event, and that's pretty damn cool, and anyone so shallow and coarse as not to appreciate it is scarcely worth reading except for comedic value. Which this piece has in abundance. And what's funny is that the author didn't intend it that way.
>Advocates of social liberalism rule public schools from coast to coast.
They do, but no one in the younger generation seems to believe that crap anymore.
