If they don’t want the mark for buying food implanted in their hand, can they get it in their forehead, instead?
If you want to get all conspiratorial you’re welcome to and I can’t stop you (nor would I want to waste my precious time endlessly trying). I will ask you this though: How do you know that when you’re under general anesthetic for this or that that THEY are not secretly putting such things in your body anyway? The answer is that you don’t. There are such things as Trust and Common Sense.
Exactly right.
Fortunately, our friends at the Dept. of Labor will release an Interoperability Standard.
I’ve always wondered, since that verse specifies the right hand, what happens if they get it on the left hand instead?
You are, of course, quite free to believe that the company will not spy on their employees under the guise of time management or prevention of employee theft or even employee safety.
You are also free to believe that they don't keep track of what website you visit or numbers you call.
You would be wrong but that is your privilege.
Hmm, and I thought the military and convicts would be the first....
Thanks. I guess we’re all just a bunch of hysterical ninnies.
Seriously. What could possibly go wrong? When I take a job, I expect to give my employer unlimited access to my body.
You just need one chip with an ID assigned to you, like a UPC code or SSN. It can be reused by your next employer, the grocery store, TSA, IRS, etc.
...and the number of the beast is six hundred sixty and six.

Sure, why not. It just makes things easier for everyone. * rolls eyes *
Yeah, you're right. Let's take it up to the next level and have it government mandated.

“”It’s the next thing that’s inevitably going to happen, and we want to be a part of it,” Three Square Market Chief Executive Officer Todd Westby said. “
Sick sob. Wants to treat his employees like cattle.
Just “give” them the latest Apple I Phone and free Verizon and a Verizon hot spot to use for free when at home for their I pads and Apple Mac Computer.
Yup, another company to put out of business.
Only a matter of time before some enterprising hacker figures out how to read and impersonate these chips. Employers will tend to implicitly trust these devices. How will you prove you weren’t in the breakroom when the vending machines were broken into and the chip will show you as malingering for 30 minutes?
No need. There are plenty of volunteers, even at a stage where there is little benefit.
Good evening.
“There are such things as Trust and Common Sense.”
I appreciate where you are coming from, but after 8 years of the 0bama regime, both trust and common sense are out the window.
And I’m an optimist.

I worked for a company that would monitor the employees whereabouts all day - even when they were in the bathroom -by their employee ID.
These people could be monitored 24/7.
No assumption of privacy.
There’s no GPS tracking. Yet.
