ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

Most of us become familiar with the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," fairly early in our childhood days. Significant others, who happen to be adults, seem to stumble over themselves in being the historic "first" to teach the young child this bit of wisdom. Hmmmmmmm, I stumbled upon a quote for those of us who are adults with a burning desire to pass the Golden Rule on to our young children of today:

"We have committed the Golden Rule to memory; let us now commit it to life."

Oooooh yeah. Shopping is my favorite pastime. LOL Especially at Wally World. Oh well, gotta do it.

The kittehs are starting to move around a little now. The heat really kicked their butts as it did ours. It was almost 90 degrees at my desk this afternoon and that’s TOO HOT.

William Green, a Tinker Fire and Emergency Services firefighter, sprays water on a vehicle which caught fire May 4, 2017, at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. The privately owned vehicle developed mechanical trouble and caught fire near the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complexs' building 9001. The fire was quickly and safely extinguished using water and powder while traffic was diverted to an alternate route as workers completed their shifts. I will not be around for most of it - I'm visiting my son David in Florida Tuesday thru Saturday.
