Former Breitbart Senior Editor MILO appeared alongside Breitbart Editor-In-Chief Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM Patriot Channel 125 to discuss the success of MILOs new book and the state of the American left.
...
Not to give too much praise to old school Republicans, but I used to laugh slightly when conservatives in America would say how difficult it was to get a book off the ground or to have a successful media career as a Republican or as a conservative, he continued. Launching this book Ive realised they were right, and I think the left hates me even more than they hate any of those guys because Barnes and Noble will not stock the book. And our distributor has told us, in writing specifically, that decision is almost certainly political, which is an incredible thing. Its number 2 on the New York Times Bestseller List and, Barnes and Noble wont put it in their stores. Its been out of stock everywhere for weeks and at some point you have to ask why these retailers arent ordering enough copies for their own customers.

Barnes and Noble are homophobic!
Has he looked for his book hidden behind others in the store? That's one of the empliyees' and custimers' fun tricks.
Yeah! Come on, say the magic words! BARNES AND NOLBLE HATE GAY PEOPLE!
Years ago, when I liked Ann Coulter a lot more, I went to a B&N to buy her latest book. It was on the NYT best seller list and was a top book at Amazon as well. B&N didn’t carry it. They explained that it “wasn’t that popular”.
Uh huh.
Also, I once bought three books from B&N. The cashier was some freakish young guy with piercings, tattoos, and gauges in his ears. He picked up the first book, scanned it, picked up the second book, scanned it, reached for the third book and noticed it was a Bible. He tried not to touch it. He used a pinky finger to nudge it over the laser scanner. It wasn’t easy, but he rang up that last sale with minimal physical contact.
They are a despicable store. Amazon has it’s own issues, but I shop Amazon rather than B&N.
None of the Barnes & Nobles in Austin are carrying it in-store as of today.
I don’t know about Milo, but for an Indie author to get Barnes and Noble to put a book on the store shelves is a freaking nightmare. The book must be submitted for approval, and then it must be approved for returns in the case that they can’t sell it, in which case the author has to reimburse the distributor based on the wholesale price of the book, something that could be an out-of-pocket expense of several times the royalty payments. B&N also reserves the right to hold the books for up to six months and return them in any condition. Even though my books are selling well after six published titles, I would still like to have them on the shelves in the big stores but can’t take the financial risk.
Barnes & Noble are in no position to turn down any sale. All their stores around here are shuttered.
Barnes and Noble will soon be out of business, just like Borders.
“He used a pinky finger to nudge it over the laser scanner.”
The brainwashing that freak must have experienced was probably quite harsh.
It’s funny ... If they think anything religious is “stupid” or “fiction” or whatever, why do they freak out over anything dealing with it? It’s not just their stupid “separation of church and state” protests and similar nonsense ... They could witness two men going at it in an alley and their training forces them to view it as an expression of love while a kid saying a prayer causes them to freak out. Ponderous man ... Freakin’ ponderous.
Sounds like you found a genuine vampire... he was afraid touching a holy object would burn him!
We right-wingers are too paranoid about B&N. I worked there two or three years ago and can assure you that between the crowds, the bureaucracy, the selling of soft toys and constant charitable promotions, nobody had time to either hide books or refuse to sell books.
The customers were sometimes nuts. One guy came in demanding Rush’s new book. I instructed him to the children’s section and he threw a fit because that was an example of dissing Rush and “hiding his book.” He was too stupid to know it was a children’s book.
Sheesh. Glad when Christmas was over!!!
I bought his book on Amazon simply to support him. He’s a much needed fighter for our side.
He was (and is) the only one that’s effective in taking a wrecking ball to PC in colleges and energizing the conservative students and making the administrators feel the heat.
I went to www.barnesandnoble.com and searched for “dangerous” - and was pleasantly surprised with the top results - lots of Milo, Levin and Breitbart:

That said, my experiences at their brick & mortar stores is that they are a bunch of uber-Lefties, and I generally don’t buy from them.
I do think that it’d be funny as Hell if 100,000 of us searched for “Dangerous” on their website, and then didn’t buy anything...it’d certainly send a message.
My guess is that B&N doesn’t want conservative books in their physical stores, because their ultra-Lefty clientele would get triggered and leave the store in a huff because they saw the cover.
Or maybe their just recognize that their Leftist customers are likely to quietly damage the books in the store, as a form of “protest”, and don’t want the expense.
Are they normally selective about bestsellers?
I imagine they can be selective about publishers. Why would they need Milo’s own publishing house, as opposed to, say, Penguin Random House?
They definitely do hide books. As long ago as 1996 I had it out with a store manager who refused to put the book about Clinton that told the story of his draft dodging out on the table with all the other Clinton books. Can’t remember the title now. Ann’s books can be on the very bottom shelf where you really can’t see them if you are over 3 inches tall.
I had to special-order Milo’s book, and even then the sales clerk smirked and said “Dangerous!” as she put it in the bag.
Best $30 I ever spent, except maybe for two $15 tickets to Baryshnikov. He’s like a combo of Coulter and Gutfeld but not derivative of either, and a superlative explainer of how it is. I needed to read it and presume many others do too.
As a former employee of B&N, I can only tell you that headquarters micro-manages that organization and managers have no power (like most big corporations which makes shopping in them so awful). That manager may have pretended he was in charge but he wasn’t. Those books that say selected by employees? Nope. Headquarters. So if they are not carrying his book, you have to look at the corporate offices.
