President Donald Trump told The New York Times Wednesday that it would be improper for special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate his family’s finances in a manner not related to the probe into Russian election interference.
Mueller, a registered Republican, has hired at least seven Democratic donors to join his investigative team, including one attorney who donated roughly $34,000 to federal Democratic candidates.
Trump has previously called this hiring practice “ridiculous,” and was asked by the Times whether he would ever order the Justice Department to fire Mueller. He said he would not do so, but he did say that Mueller would cross a red line by opening a broad investigation into his family’s finances unrelated to the Russia investigation.
“I think that’s a violation. Look, this is about Russia,” Trump said.

And there in lies the problem. Rod did not put any limits on what Mueller could investigate. Rush is talking about this now. What Mueller is doing is opposition research for the 2020 election. Mueller can go anywhere with his investigation.
Does he have anyone decent in his admin at this point? I can think of housing sec but who else is loyal to the constitution?
President Trump needs to DEMAND that Sessions appoint a special prosecutor to look into all the dealings of Hillary, Bill, Podesta, the Clinton Foundation, 0bama, Holder, Rice, Samantha Power, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and any other associated people or entities that they see fit. Make sure to mention the Seth Rich assassination, too.
This special prosecutor shall operate under the same wide open rule set as Mueller’s team and shall be staffed ONLY by republicans that have not worked under the 0bama or Clinton regimes.
Call a press conference to announce it and offer pizza to the reporters. That’ll cause a little additional nervousness to those who should be nervous.

Wray’s refusal to call a spade a spade during his confirmation hearing was extremely troubling. Moreover, his unanimous approval from the judiciary committee speaks volumes as to his WILLING COLLUSION to abide the insane witch hunt against the very president who appointed him.

Why not just rename it the “Witch Hunt Department” since Mueller’s obviously not interested in justice?

Saw a post, on another thread, that suggested Sessions fire Rosenstein.
It’s incredible how President Trump manages to tolerate all this outrage perpetrated against him day after day.
He desperately needs to crack down on this fishing expedition and make many many heads roll asap.
Our great President has enough to deal with in tackling all the legitimate problems on his plate. He doesn’t deserve all this totally unnecessary harassment and distraction.

Donald Trump is very good at playing Improv theater. Everybody else is stuck on Kabuki theater.
That would be my play. Make a public statement that any requests by Mueller not related to the Russian investigation will not be honored....period. I’d have my minions all over the news networks trashing Mueller at the same time.

Trump always has a plan and has infinite patience in carrying out his plan and/or watching as things unfold in HIS FAVOR.
He also willingly plays the fool, appearing dumb, disorganized and/or off balance, fooling his enemies until he decides to attack.
I think it may be an ‘Art of War’ strategy, but he plays a game which is invisible to most of us- and most of “them”.
Then he abused his authority.
Sessions did not recuse himself from anything except the allegation of someone actively trying to get the Russian government to hack into Clinton's network.
That's IT.
So if Rod the Rat is running an unbounded fishing expedition - did he sign every check, report every donor? - then he went outside the scope of his own authority and Sessions can step in.
Mueller’s presence is absurd.
Sessions recused himself. He should now “un” recuse himself.
If Sessions can’t do that, then resign.
Trump needs to torpedo the "bull$hit artists" and send a SERIOUS message.

Sessions did not recuse himself regarding Trum's finance records.
