Recently TruthRevolt reported on feminist Jody Allard's Washington Post article in which she admitted she was afraid of her own sons. Her piece, called, "My teen boys are blind to rape culture," humiliated her sons... who aren't actually sexists or rapists. Later, Allard wrote about their reaction:
He doesn't understand why I lumped him and his brother together in my essay. He sees himself as the "good" one, the one who is sensitive and thoughtful, and who listens instead of reacts. He doesn't understand that even quiet misogyny is misogyny, and that not all sexists sound like Twitter trolls. He is angry at me now, although he won't admit that either, and his anger led him to conservative websites and YouTube channels; places where he can surround himself with righteous indignation against feminists, and tell himself it's ungrateful women like me who are the problem.
I guess a broken clock is right twice a day: she is the problem! But, she still doesn't see it:
I love my sons, and I love some individual men. It pains me to say that I don't feel emotionally safe with them, and perhaps never have with a man, but it needs to be said because far too often we are afraid to say it. This is not a reflection of something broken or damaged in me; it is a reflection of the systems we build and our boys absorb.
Too bad Shapiro is such an intellectual zero.
Sometimes a man just feels
He's got to make it alone
Tell mama why I'm leaving so soon
Because this life I live
Has got me sick through and through
The woman’s Twitter handle is “sendvodka.” I can only imagine what kind of a mother she is.
That would put Ms. Allard (the mother) in negative territory.
God, what a horrible woman.
How fun! Good for Ben, and I hope the young man proves a success. None of us needs to be limited by our parents’ limits. (Not that I like hearing that from my children, *sigh*)
no, it's you...
She raised three boys and a girl and never feared any of them for a millisecond despite three of the four kids having been almost a foot taller (and 80 pounds heavier) than her.
Another woman either mentally ill or of such low IQ... or both.
She thinks she’s being edgy by including her sons in the rape culture.
Hah - so all men, huh? Okay then mention some of these men in your next article - I dare you ...
Barack Obama, Phil Donahue, Chuck Schumer, or Caitlin (formerly Bruce) Jenner. Say just how does that rape culture work with Trannies - should go both ways, right? Whether a former man or becoming a man, just like your sons they can’t wash off the stain of being potential rapists, right?
So say that! But I bet she won’t because obviously her sons were a much easier target to use, and one to which her bobble head readers could accept without any of their male icons or protected classes being challenged. This coward deserves to have her sons hating her - she targeted them in her article rather than risking any backlash by being truly edgy by targeting the likes of those listed above.
Yes folks, women can be assh*les too.
Here we have a mother who doesn't feel "emotionally safe" around men. I wonder when she's going come out as a lesbian?
He’s a smart guy, but he lost me with his loud NeverTrumpism. If he has recanted appropriately I missed it.
As well as being perpetually drunk. Something broken there.
Too bad Shapiro is such an intellectual zero.
yet if he’d backed Trump he’d be a towering genius, right...?
- “As a single mother, I sometimes wonder whether the real problem is that my sons have no role models for the type of men I hope they become. But when I look around at the men I know, Im not sure a male partner would fill that hole. Where are these men . . .”
Yes, she’s a single mother. How many of us would not have guessed that?
- “I was sure most parents grappled with raising sons in the midst of rape culture. The struggle I wrote about was universal, I thought . . .”
It is so far from universal that it never even crossed my mind. Of course, I have a mind, which puts me ahead of this man-hating feminist who even abuses her own sons.
- “Im not overly interested in dating in the first place, but Im starved for adult conversation so dating feels like a necessary evil.”
Quite a catch. Sadly, the men willing to date her probably deserve what they get.
“But what all of these men share in common, even my sons, is a relentless questioning and disbelief of the female experience . . . Im through wasting my time on people who are more interested in ideas than feelings, and Im through pretending these people, these men, are safe.”
It’s mutual. It looks like her son, and perhaps both sons, are through pretending that their mother is safe. I’m decades past pretending that feminists or any progressives are safe. As for ideas, it’s clear that she never deals with them. View and treat people as individuals, or I will see you as the enemy of all that is decent. Like her heroes (Obama, Hillary, Che, Karl Marx), this woman is the enemy of all that is good, decent, and wholesome.
“God, what a horrible woman.”
I have sons, lots of them. You have no idea of the battles I’ve fought against these pig-ignorant feminists in the schools. Fortunately, I’m from a long line of fighters.
One, in one of my sons’ third grade class had the nerve to tell me “I don’t like little boys,” and “can’t you see I’m pregnant” as a last resort attempting to appeal to our shared “sisterhood.”
My sons are great guys, good men and I am very proud of them. These feminists are disgusting, hateful witches.
I missed this quote the first time I read it.
So she is shocked that guys don't get women's feelings, at least hers? And wonders why “men” are the problem in her relationships? Has she no empathy for anyone that might be different?
Of course, all she knows about dating comes from Disney cartoons and chick flicks.
She should start collecting cats today.
