-- Was her name Damond or Ruszczyk? --

Technically, Ruszczyk. Her married name was to be Damond, and I read she had been using her married name.

That is good advice. And, God forbid I should ever need it, I will try to remember. But I can’t fault this woman. Most of us live law-abiding lives and never come into contact with crime scenes. Until I read about this story, I probably would have also approached the police car as this woman did.

“No witnesses”

There’s the guy on the bike that police are looking for. If he was smart he’d keep his mouth shut until he talks to an attorney.

I don’t know. In any case, she didn’t commit a crime by going out.

No, but she called the police because she was afraid. What was she going to do if there was a rape in progress, tell the guy to stop? It was a poor decision but it shouldn't have been a fatal one.

If there is such a guy, he’s a dead man. I think he was made up as part of the cover story.

Something very wrong with the actual shooting sequences as we have been told. What officer pulls a weapon inside a vehicle and then shoots across the seat right in front of the other officer, through the door, no less. Something is really, really wrong with the picture presented.

My hunch is that the officer is going to say that he heard what he thought were gunshots (fireworks were mentioned on the dispatch transcript), and then he saw the woman running toward the car. In his mind he put the gunshots and the woman together and perceived a threat.

I don't think I'd buy that scenario, as a cop should know the difference between gunshots and fireworks, but I bet that's his story.

Affirmative action hire and now a cop who had no business being there.

She might’ve been panicked. In any case, police are supposed to be TRAINED on solid judgment. No excuse there.

The shooter knew he would likely have to protect one or more of his brothers from the acceptable practice of rape. He should be rewarded with a slow painful death.

Unless I saw a gun out and nearing use, I cannot imagine shooting across the driver at someone. Far too great a chance of putting a bullet through the driver if he moves. Apart from the noise of shooting from inside a car!

Has there been anything said as to WHY Justine was outside?

...

Using information from the investigator’s report and a map of her address, I’d say she ran after the squad car after it drove past the back of her house north to south. She was 450 feet away from her house where the shooting occurred.

Does anyone know if the Somalian was a US citizen? If not then why do we let non citizens police citizens?

“Yep. The fix is already in. Any video/audio about the actual shooting is already destroyed. Cops ‘felt threatened’ by ‘loud noise’. No witnesses. Reasonable doubt. It’s over right now.”

And “corroboration” by his “trainee” partner of course.

Has anyone else seen this article/video of her heroic rescue few weeks back. Those she saved treated her as one of their own kind! Of the shooter's kind we learned all we needed to know a couple dozen years ago when Hillary's husband sent our troops there. So I move, when talking to the the PC loons in Minnesota, that we refer to this fowl PC murder as "WHITE DUCK DOWN."

Maybe she saw the police pull up and then went out to tell them what she perceived

I’ll bet the other officer was walking like he had saddle sore after those shots went off.

And since they were there in response to a possible rape I would think if they saw a female running towards them they should have perceived her as the possible victim

You have no idea of the terror experienced by law enforcement officers when they are approached by Australian females. I missed the news about the Australians burning down the neighborhood. Remember Australian lives matter!

It took me over 20 years to finally break my wife of the stupid habit of running outside every time she heard something that bothered her. Tactically, it makes no sense at all to go running out of your house into an uncontrolled situation, especially when the police have already been called. No, I am not blaming this lady for getting shot and it was NOT her fault. But, I am saying that people need to think about the potential consequences of their actions.
Do I understand correctly that Minneapolis 911 does not have a locator system? Even Crescent City, CA has that!
