Full Title: "Partner of cop who fatally shot bride-to-be 'was STUNNED when his colleague opened fire from inside their squad car' as autopsy reveals she was killed by one bullet to the stomach after she called 911"
The partner of a Minneapolis cop who shot dead bride-to-be Justine Damond was 'stunned' when the officer opened fire through a squad car door, sources say.
Officer Matthew Harrity, who was in the driving seat, was speaking to Damond after she called 911 to report a sexual assault occurring near her home, when his partner reached across him and fatally shot her in the abdomen.
A police source told KARE11 that Harrity was 'left stunned' by officer Mohamed Noor's actions.
The revelation makes the motive for shooting all the more mysterious as it appears that Harrity did not view Damond as posing a threat.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, BCA, investigating the incident, is remaining tight lipped about what happened late that Saturday night until they finish interviewing Noor and Harrity as part of their probe.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Minneapolis Betsy Hodges is demanding to know why neither officer had their bodycam turned on at the time, which she called a 'key question' for investigators.
Noor, 31, has since offered his 'condolences' but demanded everyone respect his privacy after opening fire on the 40-year-old yoga instructor.

All this hand wring, and yet no one asks the million dollar question.
Did the cop go home safe and sound that night?
Well, did he?
Why hasn’t this Muslim Cop been arrested?
See what happens when you hire 3rd world tent living savages and then expect them to comport themselves with civilized human beings?
I hope Noor rots in a cell the rest of his pathetic worthless life.
Not only very threatening to certain kinds of people, you know, but exponentially worse, proportionate to the attractiveness quotient of the female unfortunate enough to be involved.
He'll say he had no choice, if he ever gets to court.
I'm thinking he'll be quietly spirited out of the country somehow (people will be looking the other way when he jumps bail) and the media will ignore it.
(That's a question, I honestly don't have an answer for your question but it seems like the obvious question.)
We know this happened and that’s all.
I know, let’s make shit up.
The victim lived in a relatively affluent area of Minneapolis that is nowhere near the Seward neighborhood where the majority of Somalis live.
Those two areas basically have no interaction at all.
There's no chance the victim knew the officer that shot her. None. The squad had just pulled up and she was talking with the driver. She certainly didn't see Noor in the passenger seat in the dark.
Plus in her 911 call she described 'sounds' coming from the alley, no visual. The sexual assault didn't happen to her.
Sorry. Your guess makes no sense whatsoever from those of us that live in the Twin Cities area.
I sure wish more details would come out so the speculation would stop. We all need to hear more facts.
“Pajamas”.
There are pajamas, and there are pajamas. Wear the wrong sort in front of a moslum, and you are toast.
You said reverse the races and there would be riots.
Do you know why? It’s because our Leftist overlords approve of it.
That's it! You've got it! And now, everyone blames him. Such ingratitude.
Alahwahoo Whackbar!
Sharia Law imposed from a squad car.
More liberal fascist civic hiring policy imposed on a now awakening public.
Noor is a dead man walking.
I was told by several African based American workers that Somalis are considered to be the nastiest people of Africa. They are criminal and entitled.
They are as a group, the same here. Entitled and dismissive.
Who was responsible for turning on car’s vid camera, each officer turns on their own body cam, whose to say noor didn’t reach over when his partner was occupied and turn his off, and he didn’t ever turn his on, there are no green/red lights that indicate they are working. We may have a small PD but all wear body cams, and there is know way to know if they are activated.
Uh, don't you think when you are getting information from a witness, that you'd want the recording equipment on? If for nothing else, then for the cop's own protection against accusations of improper behavior. Also, audio could be reviewed later if the cop wanted to validate what he thought had transpired in the conversation.
Making excuses for obvious bad judgment on their part doesn't really help anything.
They are having a really hard time coming up with an excuse that will allow him to escape his actions without any consequences.
“Respect my authora-tie’” said the big fat cop.
“If she would have followed the officer’s instructions she’d still be alive” said the “cops are never wrong” conservative.
No go right ahead. I am a retired police officer 32 + years. I do not condone just killing folks but the world they are in now is causing a lot of this. If it were up to me anyone with the ability to take your rights away, put you in jail, sentence you and lawyers would have to take polygraphs on their cases. I know they make mistakes and if it is a mistake it would have certain guidelines for punishment. I once requested to take a polygraph and do not know if I believe in them to be honest. I am 78 years old and taught that court was about the truth and there is no bigger lie in the world. It is a stage with actors and therein lies the problem. Our country and world is in dire straights. By the way I made as many arrest or more than most. I never shot or beat a person and never had to run. I was lucky!
