But no, he went and slinked off to Arizona. Now I ask you, if you just had cranial surgery would your doctor let you go onto an aircraft where the interior pressure altitude might have been 8,000 feet. How did he get to AZ and why permit it.
It all reeks to me that he wanted out of Dodge and now.

Whilst I don’t wish death on people, I have to say I can’t put into words how much I hate John McCain, he has proven himself the worst type of traitor.
The best situation is that he is now FORCED to resign his seat because of health reasons.
Then hopefully his replacement will be a Patriot and not someone who works every waking hour to both undermine the nation, the President and give aid and comfort to our enemies like McCain has consistently done.

There is a rumor - going around quietly - that he had to get out of DC because something bad was about to happen. I think he had the surgery scheduled for a while and the time wave of the Senate just caught up with him. Which means this is a very serious situation.

My Grandmother about the same age had a similar significant operation and the extended length of time under General Anesthesia alone made her a Vegetable. She was done in.
