This is the most detailed description of McCain's "procedure" I found with Google. Please read it all and many of the comments. McCain having had stage 3 Melanoma before, it could be far more serious than the curiously incurious media is letting on; indeed, possibly just as curiously incurious as they were with Teddy Kennedy's terminal brain tumor.

I have been skeptical of this “procedure” he had since it broke yesterday. What Dr is going to let you fly within hours of having a clot removed from the brain bucket?

Per Obamacare:
A government counselor needs discuss Johns end of life decision with him.
Explain that treatment now would necessarily take money away from a younger healthier patient.
Hand John paperwork with “DENIED” stamped on it.
...then “Ho! Ho! Ho!” push him down the hospice shoot.

.....The removal of the skull is not minimally invasive..... When that skull proves to be totally empty then it is considered minimally invasive surgery.

The significant line here is : “Tissue pathology reports are pending...”
The article is leading with the idea that this was a small chronic subdural hematoma, but “Tissue Pathology” implies a much more complex bag of worms.

The most surprising part of this incident is that McConnell was expecting McCain’s vote to support dropping ObamaCare.
Does he really think John McCain would pass up an opportunity to stick it to President Trump by going along with the rest of the GOP?
Once recovered, McCain would like nothing better than to hold a press conference and explain in detail why , for the good of the nation, he could not
‘bring himself’ to vote in favor of the Trump proposal.
“I am being forced to vote NO!”

Isn’t that called a stroke? It must have been in an unused portion of the brain, somewhere between his two ears.

It was in his brain. I guess that’s why it was an elective surgery.

Very interesting. The frontal lobes (which would have been the most likely brain region affected by the location of the intracranial blood clot McCain had - as described) controls the appropriateness of behavior. For an illustrative example, read about Phineas P. Gage.

He’s 80?Wait... that’s five years longer than Obamacare architect Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel wants Medicare recipients to live. “75 years is enough.” In this one isolated circumstance, I agree!
