Not cooling off here any time soon. Tomorrow is SUPPOSED to be “only” 89 and rainy, then it’s 90s from there on. Upper 90s most of next week with the heat index 100+. Yuck.

July and August are our rough months and it looks like this year will be a roaster.

Gosh, I forgot about Didi laying again. And now there’s a pip? Poor Didi!!
She’s just gotta shake Jasper.

I’m trying to get a hospital bed...Suzye says it is time. Tomorrow we will rearrange Mom’s bedroom to make caretaking easier on the back and neck and knees, etc.

Talked to the bed folks, Kate....the easiest part. She deals with Medicare all the time, but they usually have to have face-to-face with doctor and patient. Ain’t gonna happen. I’m really not sure we can get her to the car and back after a doctor visit.

Insurance will pay some rental with pre-authorization.

Doctor’s office called back in the afternoon...she will have to come in. Can’t do it. Asked the tech to call Kate and see what they can work out. She was amenable. Now I have to wait til Monday. *sigh*
