I'm very sorry (again), but our recurring response time nightmare is back (again).
The good news, though, is John has finally checked in. He's been out of town a lot in the last couple weeks dealing with some urgent family issues regarding his other half's adopted child. Praying that works out soon. He also says his phone needs to be replaced and has not had time to get it done.
The bad news is, he has not been able to resolve our server issue yet. He suspects it's some kind of intermittent error in our network switch or router and wants to replace our front-end hardware but has not had time to purchase the new equipment or get back up to San Joose to install it. Hopefully, soon.
Meanwhile, until John finally gets it fixed, here's a possible temporary workaround:
At the top of the articles index page click: "Account" and then "My Preferences."
Set 20 messages per page
Set 20 results per page
Set them both to 20. You can change them back after John gets the problem fixed.

Prayers up.
Thanks Jim!
I certainly will pray for John’s domestic situation.
It’s always difficult to keep up online when there are issues in the 3D world!
Thank you for the update. So glad you have heard from John.
It is a threading problem. Multicore CPU’s don’t play well with legacy code. I know. I code. Have John hunt around in BIOS and turn of hyperthreading and anything to do with multi threads. Add an API call to bind any single request to a single core.
You are welcome.
Glad John is OK. Have not had the problem today.
That’s what I did and I’ve had no issues since, other than slow load times.
Prayers for your family.
Have forwarded to John, Thanks!
Praying, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Thanks for the update, Jim.
Most happy John is okay and sorry to hear of his troubles.
Thanks, Jim. These youngsters (kidding John) love to go off on their own, don’t they.
Thanks, Jim...hope the family issues work out...
I have trouble with the thingamajig working with the whatchamacallit!
As of now it has improved considerably. Prayers that John’s family problems are resolved.
Thank you! Compared to no FR for most of a week, anything is bearable!
Not to pick an argument, but a lot of the complaints about HT were from a long time ago, even though I still encounter people who insist that it has to be shut off.
Also, up-to-date releases of PHP and every other framework should be able to handle modern hardware.
Again, not to argue, FRiend.
I suspect there might be a problem being caused to others when people are “Search”ing.
I agree with the baby.
If the answer is to turn off the power of multi threading or hyper-threading, then question is: “where can I find a better program / programmer?”
