Gore claims climate battle just like fight against slavery, apartheid
Fox News ^ | July 13, 2017 | Jennifer G. Hickey

Global warming activist and former veep Al Gore likened the battle over climate change to humanity's greatest struggles -- like the fights against slavery, apartheid and nuclear proliferation -- during a speech Thursday in Australia, according to a newly reported transcript.

In a July 13 speech to the EcoCity World Summit in Melbourne, the former vice president argued combating global warming was “in the tradition of all the great moral causes that have improved the circumstances of humanity throughout our history,” according to the website Climate Depot.

“The abolition of slavery, woman’s suffrage and women’s rights, the civil rights movement and the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa, the movement to stop the toxic phase of nuclear arms race and more recently the gay rights movement,” Gore said.

Marc Morano, executive editor for ClimateDepot.com, told Fox News he made an audio recording of Gore’s remarks because summit organizers prevented media from videotaping the event.

Wasn’t Al Gore’s daddy on the wrong side if the 64 Civil Rights Act?

Well, he is kind of right! I mean the fight to enslave us all for the benefit of only a few is exactly what people were fighting against - when trying to end slavery and apartheid!

Only he, just like his stupid father, is on the wrong side!! He is the one trying to instill forced slavery upon the American people and the American economy!

It’s more like Al Gore’s campaign against rock music and Keffauver’s campaign against comic books.

Not really heartfelt and not as dire as they claim.

"The abolition of slavery State's Rights, woman’s suffrage adding liberal voters and women’s rights abortion, the civil rights Hate Whitey movement and the anti-apartheid Hate Whitey movement in South Africa, the movement to stop the toxic phase of nuclear arms race and more recently the gay rights Nazi movement," Gore said.

He did better than he normally does on that list.

This is why the left controls schools and universities. People who believe this crap are devoid of critical thinking and common sense. The ones pulling the strings and are behind the curtain not necessarily believing in any “moral cause” are the globalist overlords such as Soros. BTW, never try arguing with a disciple and true believer of all of these causes. They are zombies.

Whores, for the most part, are more discriminating than Al Gore. Most of them expect to get paid up front, and the product they sell provides some fleeting satiation.

Al Gore just wants us to pay and pay and pay. For not ever delivering on the promise.

Those bulky camcorders and portable VTR decks might cause problems.

Light 8mm film cameras not so much.

Gore? Gore?

Isn’t he the idiot senator (but then I repeat myself) that got a D in the only science course he ever took? (And that was one of those marshmallow major “science” survey disastors that manage to blow the minds of the no-minded.)

Shove it, buttwipe. You couldn’t even fix a toilet.

Indeed, apartheid was the best thing that could happen to blacks in Africa. They flocked into apartheid-South Africa to flee black regime in every other countries.
The hellhole that SA has become now and even more tomorrow is definitive proof that the rabid anti-apartheid leftists have been horribly wrong.

Algoron is right.
We were always told to wear light colors during the summer. Dark colors hold the heat. Therefore blacks hold in the sun more than white people cause more global warming.

However I have discovered that the sun is rising slower in the morning and if you don’t send me all your money, one day we won’t have any more days just nights.

"Except that slavery and apartheid were real things."

DemRATs will have fully institutionalized both slavery and apartheid in America long before before they have any noteworthy affect on climate.

LOL! Freepers never forget anything.

My favorite Gore fail was when the WAPO published a pic of Earth from space - and this Titan of Science informed them that they had depicted the Earth ‘upside-down’:
