So the dems are questioning the Trump justice Department for settling a tax fraud case of $230 million for only $6 million, the case was originally handled by Bharara, who appointed Joon H. Kim as Deputy U.S. Attorney, who is serving as Acting U.S. Attorney.

The dems are right, this needs to be investigated!

Another Freeper astutely pointed out that the $6 million settlement was paid by one of many defendants in the case, who was originally on the hook for only $1.9 million of the $230 million.

Another wild and colorful story - may be a tall tale.

It sounds like the person that replaced Bahara was either chosen by him or was his deputy (so, same thing, really), so the outcome likely wasn't changed by Bahara's firing.

The IRS is notorious for tabling inflated tax claims and then settling for pennies on the dollar. Change of administration has nothing to do with it.

No it’s not

What’s interesting is that the Russian lawyer has deep ties to Clinton

Was the settlement money delivered in small, unmarked bills on a pallet?
