A Bronx teen defiantly blasted the NWA song F Tha Police out his third-floor apartment window Tuesday as thousands of cops were gathered below to mourn slain cop Miosotis Familia prompting a house call from about 20 officers. The young man, who identified himself as Julien Rodriguez, 16, said it was satisfying to play the song on repeat from his apartment on East 188th Street, claiming that his older brother and best friend were unjustifiably killed by cops.
Since they did not show respect for my brother and my friend, why should I show respect to them? the teen told The Post.

I’d say that if this kid was guest of honor at a blanket party,he’d be getting off easy.
It’s cascading to schools now. In cities, teachers are regularly sworn at in the most vulgar terms, accosted and beaten. Their lives are at risk every day. School administrations completely ignore it and, if on some off chance they do something, it is usually to write up the teacher for causing the incident.
This kid’s behavior is what my sister and other city teachers deal with every day.
The porker needs fewer food stamps.
Does the first amendment include the right purposely to disturb a funeral service just because it can be done from a private residence?
What a winner.
Hey jerk, where’d you steal your stereo from?
I agree with your take on that.
Teacher’s unions are a terrible thing too. You’ve got kids needing to see good values from somewhere, and society failing them in it’s institutions.
As you say, a good teacher is considered canon fodder.
The government, administrators, and union bosses have no drive to make things better. It’s as if they think we’ll need them more as the schools go downhill at a faster pace.
One thing I could never figure is this.
Government, administrators, and unions colluded to bring us this mess. When it’s clear they failed, what happens?
You get a commission made up of government, administration, and union officials.
They come up with a plan clearly set to fail from the outset, and yet the media and many other folks buy in like, “Well, at least they fixed it.” No, they didn’t...
See you back her in three to five years when it’s clear I’m right again. Then...
You’ll get a commission made up of government, administration, and union officials.
From my experience this fellow is the perfect example of what is to be found in that part of the country.
John Rocker was telling the truth.
WHAT? Come on. Innocent younguns just on their way to choir practice or to clean up the church parking lot. I’m sure they weren’t doing anything wrong. NOT!
The cops could have put the song “I Believe I Can Fly” on his boombox then toss him off the roof of his tenement. OK, then, “Wind Beneath My Wings”.
If he was causing his shipmates an issue there was always a blanket party option. ;-)
The First Amendment does not mention funerals.
I have some sympathy for “the good old days”...but the reason why such “behavioral corrections processing” went away was because many of the “facilitators” went way beyond what they should have done and sometimes people were killed or permanently injured. If there was a way to administer such “ needed corrections” without the “facilitators” going full bore sadist, I’d be all for it..
Exactly...
Usually a night stick in the knee or hickory shampoo.
Also, the education industry introduces and religiously follows more fads that any other industry I’ve encountered. Every year or two requires all teachers to be taught the new fad, revamp curricula, create new lesson plans, etc at enormous cost. Year after year, decade after decade these new fads are introduced, tried, and thrown out to be replaced by the next fad. The result? Dumber and dumber kids every year.
Meanwhile, all discipline is gone from schools, failing the millions of kids with no father at home. These kids have zero structure in their lives Andy have never had to follow rules to succeed. The miserable creep in this article is what happens.
I hope this baby thug is an illegal who can be deported. Failing that, I will not mind when he is eventually shot lawfully. It’s not worth inventing an excuse to kill him, nothing is ever worth that, but it won’t take long before he gives the right person a reason to solve this problem.
I agree with your observations as stated.
You and I could do no worse without any training whatsoever, in leading our k-12th grade schools.
Or maybe never found
I’m guessing this punk hasn’t seen or read “The Godfather” yet.
It would be appropriate to introduce him to this classic by playing out this short scene for him:
McCluskey to Patrolmen: “Take a hold of him. Stand him up. Stand him up straight.”
