It is far too much to hope that the Dims merely leave anyway for their vacation junkets???

Just more time for fake drama and nothing getting done with Obamacare.
To: Helicondelta
Did McConnell find something else he would like to actively avoid?

The GOP leaders dine on mind altering foods, which is the basis for their politically courageous stand and quality of their legislation.

Yes, spoil all their plans. Make them work for a change.

Very disappointed in my party. Our President deserves more.

I’ll admit to not understanding all the nuances of the U.S. Senate, but aren’t the Republicans in the majority?
How can the Democrats delay anything?
Mitch has done a few things I really appreciate. He prevented Obama from getting the Goresuch nomination slot. That was a very big deal.
Since then,... I’m not impressed.
I’ve never been a big fan of his.
Mitch, step up to the plate and get some things done.
You’re the Majority Leader. Act like one!

You control the Senate, you control the committees, you control the agenda, and you blame your own lack of action on the Democrats. Par for the course, Mitch.

Agreed, now is the time to get things done and not squander the opportunity. Take McLame, Leslie and the Maine woman to the woodshed.

This doesn’t matter one iota unless they actually plan to repeal Zerocare.

I wish they’d get with the damn program. Repeal the damned OCare and pass tax cuts and tax reform. Let the D’s scream for here to eternity. They will scream no matter what so might as well give them a really good reason to whine.

Exactly!
Do you realize 1/8th of Trump’s term is gone?
What have the House or the Senate done to capitalize on their extreme good fortune?
Not a “expletive deleted” thing.

Very disappointed in my party. Our President deserves more. I haven't considered myself a republican for over a decade. The RINO party doesn't deserve me. I may mostly vote republican but I loathe the majority of them just slightly less than I loathe the dhimmicrats.

Yes, spoil all their plans. Make them work for a change. Unfortunately, they will be even more motivated to pass a crappy bill now just to get done. The direction of their work is disastrous. What they need to do is repeal with a reserve set aside for all who are on 'Obamacare' for up to 5 years. Then, they are not 'making people die' and are motivated to put together a real free-market alternative that has to get conservative votes in the House.
