Remember the important qualifier for officials to be subject to impeachment? High crimes and misdemeanors? According to Vanity Fair contributor, T.A. Frank, perhaps we should add "offensive" to the reasons for impeachment.
Frank is honest in admitting in his July 6 article that, so far, the Trump-Russia collusion theory has turned into a big nothingburger. He also suggests that there might not ever be any impeachable high crimes and misdemeanors as a basis to remove President Donald Trump from office. So what to do? What to do? Simple. Impeach Trump for being merely "offensive." Frank make his case in IS DONALD TRUMP TOO OFFENSIVE TO BE PRESIDENT?

I found them very offensive.
Our NK problem? They caused it.
Iran? They caused it.
ISIS they caused it.
Russian collusion.......etc.
If Trump offends liberals I consider that a plus not a minus.
Sorry stupid liberals, you don’t get to throw away representative democracy because you’re “offended”
Vain Fairies should just... give up.
Says the magazine that put Bill Clinton’s crotch on the cover during Monicagate.
LOL!
Yes, we should ditch our Constitution and let some scribbler at Vanity Fair decide the President should be impeached because the Left doesn’t like him. That is a new standard of stupidity, even for VF.
Vanity Fair. Useful if you run out of toilet paper.
In that case we should bring back public flogging for people who are just irritating.
We will start with ta frank.
Yes, I hear the Vanity Fair-bots are also a bunch of filthy child molesters.
Where were these lying democrats? Apparently all that don't matter because according to them, Trump said mean offense things, like, "radical Islam"!
Well I would suggest the fatal flaw to such an approach is definitional such as that encountered in rulings related to the definition of obscenity.
Viz:
In 1964, Justice Potter Stewart tried to explain “hard-core” pornography, or what is obscene, by saying, “I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced... [b]ut I know it when I see it ...” This quote, and the intent behind it, is well known as summarizing the irony and difficulty in trying to define obscenity. For at least fifty years, the Supreme Court has been struggling with defining what speech is “obscene”.
I submit we need to move quickly to build more lampposts. There simply aren’t enough to accommodate all those that need to be swinging from one.
I wonder if Vanitu Fair thinks Stalin and Mao were “offensive”?
Well the magazine is named HALF accurately.
Lots of Vanity, Not even remotely Fair..
Either that, or they merely left a ‘y’ off the end.
It’s because of libtards like this guy that the Rat party will contnue in its death spiral. It’s all good for us.
Exactly. Every leftist running for any office these days is offensive to me. If the bar is set that low to jump over; no one will ever hold office again. Everyone will manage to offend someone. Human nature.
The Left has a peculiar sense of selective outrage.
This country has needed a “mean” President for quite some time and by “mean”, I mean honest and a low tolerance for bullspit.
