In firm control of the federal government, President Donald Trump and his Republican Party have so far failed to deliver on core campaign promises on health care, taxes and infrastructure. But in New Yorks Trump Tower café, the Gentry family blames Congress, not the president.
Like many Trump voters across America, the Alabama couple, vacationing last week with their three children, says they are deeply frustrated with the presidents GOP allies, faulting them for derailing Trumps plans. As the family of five lunched in Trump Tower, Sheila Gentry offered a pointed message to those concerned with the GOPs ability to govern five months into the Trump presidency.

It would be easy to say it's on McConnell and Ryan. But it isn't. If a majority of the 'pubs in DC were really with their voting fodder, both of them would've been driven out of their leadership positions when they didn't have an Obamacare replacement ready to be enacted.
A majority in two houses of Congress, and the White House, elections on promises like the Trump agenda, and all we have to show for it are the faces of Paul F. Ryan and Mitch the Turtle McConnell.

If only Congress cared half as much about MAGA as our great President Trump does. Also, there is no comparison as far as work ethic is concerned.
Does anyone else wonder how they enter Congress on the salaries they get, and leave as millionaires (unless they were before they entered)? I don’t have anything against the wealthy, and don’t believe in class warfare, but how does one become rich on a public servant’s salary, if they’re honest?

Most Republicana House members won their districts in 2016 by a wider margin than Trump’s margin of victory in those districts, so it would be a mistake to assume that GOP voters have a monolithic view on any of these contentious issues.
Thanks for catching this one. This one is a Hummm??? This AP sourced article by Peoples and Beaumont is very interesting because of the direction it takes. My guess is and it would be interesting to find out from which AP office this came from, DC, or NY. What to watch for is where (region wise) and which MSM subscriber to this news service pick this up and uses it. Because it does signal a change on reporting direction.

The Republican controlled congress has squandered over 6 months fighting Trump. They are nearly as bad as the Democrats. Countless times the Republicans tried to rid the nation of 0bamascam and now they have a perfect time do so and what are they doing? Fighting Trump. They have perfect timing to rid the nation of the ills of 0bama’s mischief and no they spend their time acting like a lot of wimps
